Despite being a week day, and mid-afternoon, there were several tables inside as well as outside that were filled with diners. The food was very good (hubby raved about the New England Clam Chowder); I had a house salad and we ended up splitting a sandwich. OK, it wasn't a "fine dining" experience but I believe it certainly would have been had we stopped by later for diner. The grounds are gorgeous and needed to work off our lunch.

We had the pork belly confit, the cheese bread, the octopus, and the parm wings to start. They were all polished off quickly. Our pork belly did seem to have missed a sauce, but we just dipped them with the cheesy bread sauce and was very happy. My son ordered a few different skews and thoroughly enjoyed his Picanha, sausage and cheese and chicken heart. My youngest said the chicken hearts were the best she had ever tried. High praise from a kid loving chicken heart since just a tiny tod. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye over mushroom risotto. We order medium rare and both of ours came perfectly done. Both our kids thoroughly enjoyed trying our steak and risotto. My daughter and I both enjoyed mixing my son's Yucca mash with the risotto. She practically scrapped my plate clean. We all had our eyes on the pineapple, but all agreed we were overstuffed and will defer to next time. We even had leftovers to bring home to one happy Puppy. Will definitely return!

The shrimp dish was heavy in red onions and barely had ginger or scallion. The sauce tasted like soy sauce and a starch slurry with nothing else added and it was way too salty. The fish was weirder. It had a breading on it instead of a cornstarch/potato starch batter. The sauce also did not taste like oyster sauce and it tasted like the sauce sautéed with veggies was added at the end so nothing melded together.with the fish. The sauce was overly sweet. Some customers left the table next to us and she sat down in their empty seats and starts looking at her Apple watch. She never once filled up our waters but did for the other customers and did ask if they needed anything else and gingerly places dishes on their table. Felt extremely racist. Avoid this place. Acting like a high school student forced to work a summer job and begrudgingly doing so except she was much older, immature, at best rude, and at worst, racist.

One honest note: the sides were a bit underwhelming on the flavor front compared to the rest of the meal, which is worth knowing going in. The appetizers, however, were a highlight -- and the french onion soup deserves a special shout-out.
