We used Jamie for a few updos for a wedding and I would not recommend hiring her. She was very unprofessional, had a terrible attitude and even used office scissors to cut pieces of the brides hair on her wedding day. (Who does that?) Her attitude created a negative and stressful environment and we all felt very rushed. My updo fell out an hour after we left. My hair is very thick and she used maybe 15 bobby pins. She did not get close to my inspiration picture and made me feel like a bother. 10/10 don't recommend!! read more

Wife and I had a 1 hour couples massage, the atmosphere is very relaxing and the masseuse are fantastic. I have had Precy multiple times and she seems to instinctively know just where the issues are. Strongly recommend them for a relaxing enjoyable couples thing. read more

My fiancé went here to get her eyelashes done and they didn't turn out well. First she said the glue burned her eyes the whole time. Second when they were done it looked like there was big clumps of glue where they attached to the skin. Lastly and the most important thing I think is they started falling out 2 days later and they were coming out in big clumps. So we contacted Sanctus and they tried saying that they were done properly. So she went to another salon and had to pay to have them removed and redone but what a difference! They look so much more natural and don't fall out so much. Just a way better job. read more

We hired Sanctus to do hair and makeup for my wedding, and they did a great job! Tara and Jana traveled all the way to Pittsburgh (for a fee), and did fabulous work accommodating hair and makeup styles for a bride, two bridesmaids, two moms, and one grandma. I could tell they really cared about the work they were doing, and they made me feel so special and beautiful for the big day! read more

The staff here is top notch. Unfortunately they are not handicap accessible - their idea of accessible is a joke. It's been over 20 years since ADA went into effect -plenty of time to become compliant. This and several other places in the Latrobe area are not compliant. It's time for this to change. read more

I want to make this post not to bash them as a salon but to inform other people. I recently went to Sanctus for eyelash extensions. I am a mom of 4 young children and hardly make time to pamper myself so this was a huge treat for me. Not even 24 hours after the application I had a noticeable amount of lashes fall out. I called them the next day and they said that could be normal. But day after day after day more kept falling off. Not only were the false lashes falling off but my own eyelashes were coming off with them. I called the salon and after a little back and forth of them making me feel as if it was something I had done, they agreed to refund my money. I can promise I followed the directions perfectly and still was losing false and natural lashes. The lashes were painful and the application burned and hurt so badly. The stylist was very unprofessional and the consultation was very quick and I did not feel listened to at all. After a week of seeing my natural lashes fall out I booked at another local salon. This salon was not only compassionate about what had happened but was very concerned when they saw the extensions I had on. They said it was done completely wrong and after removing the lashes I now am left with spots where my natural lashes are completely missing. It did not hurt at all when the new lashes were applied at the new salon and the new lashes feel weightless. I urge you to not get eyelash extensions at Sanctus. Never. Ever. It was so damaging. Ended up costing me way more in the long run. And it's just not done right, period. read more

This place is fantastic--- the best in Westmoreland county. The staff is amazing, talented, and friendly. The owner, Tara, is a true sweetheart. The facility is a gorgeous log cabin. The prices are great, and they have a variety of spa services in addition to the salon. I've seen my hair stylist Bethany for 10+ years and I have never, ever had a bad experience with her. This spa and salon is amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing and all the staff are friendly. We had a mother/daughter day here with my mom and I getting facials and my daughter (who is 5) got her hair cut and a pedicure. I also got my hair cut and colored and couldn't be happier with the outcome. Brandi did a great job and listened to exactly what I wanted. All the services we got were done well and well priced for the quality products used and techniques done. This place is very clean and staff is welcoming and kind. They were also patient with my 5 year old being it was her first spa experience. I will definitely return and recommend Sanctus to everyone. Keep up the great work!
