Sand Dollar - Monterey, California

No Refunds. Overpriced. If you see something you like, check the other shops on Cannery Row first before you buy at The Sand Dollar. I bought a candle that I liked, although it was $20. Then, I crossed the street and found the same candle, with "Monterey, CA" written on it (which I really wanted in the first place) for $12.95. I tried to return the candle, stating the reasons mentioned above and they looked at me like I was stupid and pointed at the sign that said "No Refunds." Yes, ladies, I can read, but I'm on vacation and found better stores to spend my money in, so the next time I visit Monterey, I'll remember not to shop at your store. read more
