The ABC Stores of the Florida Keys Sandal's is a souvenir store that are sprinkled all over the Keys just like the ABC stores are in Hawaii and Las Vegas. I've seen locations in Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon and Key West. It isn't really an "outlet" store. The billboards will lure you with the 4/$10 sale on select shirts that are placed waaaaay in the back of their stores. LoL! The prices are regular full retail prices... even a little pricey than normal. They sell brand names like Yeti and major sandal brands like Teva, Merrell, Reef, Quiksilver, Roxy, Billabong, Sanuk, Guy Harvey, Mephisto, and Birkenstock. I needed flip-flops but ended up purchasing one of their cheapest priced Teva sandals for $30. Purchased a few souvenir shirts too. Yup! Lots of name brands but not an outlet for sure. The customer service here was lacking. No greeting when we walked in. No offer to assist or answer questions. OK, so Sandal Factory Outlet is definitely not a factory outlet. It is a full price shoe/sandal/t-shirt/souvenir shop. Mind you, we don't have a lot of shopping choices in the Upper Keys. They carry some hard to find popular brands like Hey Dude, Oofos and On Cloud! You will pay the full price for these and there is a $10 mark-up for On Cloud above the maker's own website. Oofos are the retail of $79. They have a decent selection. With Hey Dude, they have them mostly priced at $54, where as the Hey Dude website has them at $49. Locals with ID get a 10% discount, so basically, they are discounted down to the regular retail price. As a tourist, there are not many souvenir shops in the Upper Keys: Sandal Factory Outlet, Randy's or Shell World. Visit all of them and decide! read more

Wildly underwhelmed by this place. It's neither an outlet, nor a factory. It barely qualifies as a business. They don't have a public restroom (nice) which I thought was required, but may only be good common sense when you want people to shop your store. EH, whatever. We shop all the Sandal Factory locations throughout the FL Keys. They have a great selection of t-shirts for the whole family. I stop in to stock up on new flip flops for the year. Olukai are my favorites, but they have many different sandals to choose from. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The prices are a good value too!! We had a great time at SFO! What I love about Florida and the Keys is how friendly folks are and this was no exception for the associate in the store on our visit. She was a hoot! The store itself has a wide selection of pretty much anything and everything you need for lazy beach days, pulse racing adventures, and family vacations. There is the economical and the splurge-worthy (I'm looking at you, Yeti). With a deal like 4 t-shirts for $10 and BOGO 1/2 off, our souvenir shopping for friends and family got marked off quickly. Don't fall for those billboards you see as your drive down exploring the area like a tourist. High end brands at high end prices. These prices were more than what I see even back at home in Cali. This was no way an outlet shopping experience and more of a tourist trap. They do have a nice selection of beach shoes. Don't waste your time here. We shopped in Marathon Key and came away with several items to remind us of our trip. One was a toy water gun. It broke the moment we tried it out, and the store would not do anything about it. I did notice it was made in China and cheaply made, but we didn't get any use out of it at all. Straight to the trash pile, to live on longer than us. The other items have held up fine. read more

Lots of sandals of varying quality, but mostly junkie types not at what I think of as outlet prices but more at regular souvenir trinket shop prices. Indeed I found my favorite flop flop attire that I purchase at Albertson's Super Market priced at $15.00 when I only pay $5.99 a pair. And if I wanted to go out on the town dressed my very best, most fashionable "Key West Formal" attire, as in wearing flip flops and pearls, the three for $1.00 string of my lavish pearl necklace accessory here went for $1.00 each. Anyway, my thought is that if you care to follow my fashion notes on how to dress like a Key West Slum Goddess, you might just as well be a cheap one; shop elsewhere. Yes, they also have lobster T-shirts if you like wearing something sporting a vicious claw or two on it, but the one I saw had a Maine Lobster, not Keys warm water Spiny Back Lobster depicted on it. THEY WERE LYING ON THE FLOOR. CREASED. STAINED. MIS-STITCHED. I'm 87% sure this is a front for something because no legitimate business would operate this way, and I saw no transactions completed while I was in the store. Also this shop is X-rated and NOT. APPROPRIATE. FOR. CHILDREN. It had inappropriate souvenirs AND encouraged IMPROPER SPELLING. Will NEVER be back again. They have a lot of tee shirts, beach wear, designer sandals, shoes etc. The prices were decent nothing to rave about. I really expected more of a discount. I would say that you can get sandals here about $20.00 cheaper than in Miami. I thought their tee shirts were a bit overpriced. Their regular clothes were as expensive as if you went to Macy's or Lord and Taylors. They do offer a clearance section, all the way in the back of the store, in the corner. I'll keep this short, but not so sweet. This place is definitely a tourist trap. My mom was lured by the brightly colored exterior and tropical decor. We stopped in, and I immediately felt like I was in a store run by hoarders. It was so cramped and all of the merchandise towered over me. It was overwhelming. Too much stuff, most merchandise was overpriced, and not enough help in the store to tackle the piles of stuff. We were in search for some cheap flip flops since we accidentally left ours back at home ... so we made a bee line to this store right before we hit the beaches, and holy cow ... they most definitely have flip flops but they were SO EXPENSIVE!! We couldnt find anything under 20 bucks in this place so we got the hell out of here. Luckily, I remember that most Walgreens on beach spots usually have flip flops so we waited until we found one, and woah and behold, cheap, durable flip flops!! Anyway, I was not impressed. I really don't do shopping, but I love this store! I live my life in sandals. I want them to be super cute, but don't want extra height from heels or platforms. My husband is 5'6. I'm 5'5. While I was not in need of sandals per set, the giant billboards also advertised t-shirts. Visiting from Seattle for the first time, I wanted a souvenir, but was looking for a decent value. Now granted, I am a large man and wear a 4xl t-shirt. That being said, I recognize that smaller retailers will simply not have my size, and I've come to accept that fact. Larger retailers tend to have a small selection of 4xl shirts, but at least there's something to choose from. But these guys? Oh hell no. Despite the grandiose hype on their gaudy billboards, none of their locations had a single 4xl shirt in their entire stock. I could understand only a few ugly designs. I expected to pay more for one my size (since there's more material required). But Not. One. Single. Shirt?! So, fat guys don't get souvenirs from the Keys? Pathetic. read more

Just know all sales are final. Bought 3 pair of water shoes. Tried to return them 2 days later and they were so rude. We never used them. Their policy is returns only on same day of purchase. WTH? Manager just pointed to the bottom of my receipt which said all sales are final. Then pointed to another obscure sign that no one reads that said the same thing. She could have said, "sorry you didn't notice this and I apologize for your disappointment". But Noooooo. Instead "it's store policy. No way. Can't do it". Terrible customer service. My wife has an obsession with sandals, so as soon as we saw the sign for a "Sandal Factory Outlet", I knew we would be stopping in. Maybe the definition and concept of "outlet" stores has changed over the years, but when I was growing up, it meant cheaper prices. The stock was often last seasons, or it had a small defect which meant it couldn't be sold in normal retail shops. We found the same exact sandals my wife was wearing. She had bought them at a shop at Universal Citywalk - not exactly the cheapest of places - and yet, Sandal Factory Outlet was charging the same exact price. Even more frightening - those were some of the cheapest sandals at $50. Other pairs went for as much as $100 or more. In addition to the overpriced sandals, they also sell the standard touristy t-shirts which were a little more reasonably priced. If you want to be a pricey sandal boutique, fine - just own up to it and don't pretend to be some sort of discount shop. read more

Sandal Factory Outlet I spend about 90% of my time in Flip Flops, and the last 5 pairs I bought were from here. They have any kind of sandal you want. Dressy, boating, beach, working; you name it they have some kind of sandal that will fit your needs. Without a question the best sandals they have are the bottle opener flip flops.
