These are Crowded Areas to stay and Hotel Rooms can be hard to come by. Needless to say, I rejected his "OFFER" and INSTEAD choose BEST WESTERN where I can ALWAYS count on a much NICER ROOM, THAT IS INDEED A HANDICAPPED ROOM, ( entry was ground level, pulled RIGHT UP TO THE DOOR). They also have a much better Continental Breakfast, FRESHLY MADE IN THEIR OWN RESTAURANT. to top it off, they didn't as me to PAY IN ADVANCE,but KINDLY LET ME PAY BEFORE I LEFT!

I didn't learn until after an EXTREMELY accommodating check-in process that the kind young gentleman at the desk this afternoon was the owner. My room is very comfortable and clean. I feel very safe here, which is important to me bcz i dont always have a traveling companion. The hot water lasted as long as I wanted & the showerhead's adjustable settings helped soothe my tired driving muscles. Then I went to brush my teeth- long strains of hair on sink counter. Maybe the housekeeper was in a rush or they are limited staff - who knows, but I felt so disgusted and sleep in my vehicle would have been even more miserable, so I stayed in the room. Ughh! . Put the address in to google maps and realized this hotel is 45 minutes away from fort Stockton. Immediately contacted cheap tickets who then contacted the hotel. The hotel refused to refund. Was not understanding of a simple mistake which I attempted to rectify less than 5 minutes later. No understanding, set in stone policy no cancellations. People make mistakes and it's the effort we put in to fix them. A little bit of understanding would have gone a long way. I will never book with cheaptickets.com again and will never book with Wyndham again. After having spent thousands of dollars with them. Kayak.com it is from now on and literally anything but Wyndham.

My son and I are driving back to Dallas from west TX and had planned on staying in Midland or Odessa but after calling 7 hotels there with no vacancies, I was getting really nervous! So since I was at a rest stop 10 miles from Monahans, I did a quick Yelp search and called this place. It's new and clean and nicely decorated. We swam and relaxed in their indoor pool and spa then had a nice meal while watching TV in the "living room" area of our 2 room suite. I'm looking forward to their breakfast which promises eggs, biscuits, sausage, potatoes, do-it-yourself waffles with fruit topping, an assortment of cereals, fresh fruit, etc. Overall I'm really happy with this hotel which by the way is conveniently right off I-20. Angie at the front desk was super nice also. I'd give it 5 stars but at $199 for 1 night, ouch!

What I found here was a clean, quiet room for my money, removed from the highway and its noise. Fridge works. A total of two bugs - tiny ones, both dead, could easily have flown in the door when I was loading the room. A few stains in a few places, but I tested them and it's definitely not dirty, just stained. So it's a budget hotel. Stains happen. But gosh, everything works, everything is comfortable, everything is quiet, and the price is right. I really have to be glad that I trusted my gut on this one.
