Sandoval's Produce is the best! Ophelia and Luis have gone out of their way to hook me up with fresh produce and fruit. So grateful!

The staff is also so amazing. They're genuinely kind, welcoming, and patient, and you can tell they take pride in what they're serving. Even when it's busy, they still manage to make you feel seen and taken care of, which makes the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is what really makes it stand out. It's cozy, clean, and super inviting. There's even a couch where you and your friends can sit back, hang out, and relax, plus board games you can actually play while you're there. It makes the place feel less like a quick stop and more like a fun little hangout spot where you can stay a while. DEFINITELY a must try if you're new to Hanford!!

I called in my order and spoke with a pleasant, courteous and professional employee. He quoted my order to be ready within 5-10 minutes which I don't feel was a bad wait time. I've been inside the building before and I like that it's always fresh inside with nice decor throughout. They are always very welcoming. I really like the sincere "hello" and eye contact upon entering.. unlike other places that do that yet out of habit or being mandated by management. Enough said. Pros: the bowl was prepared before my eyes with fresh fruit. I truly enjoyed the taste of the granola, mixed with the açaí base, peanut butter and fruit. I will definitely be back! Cons: perhaps a bigger portion container. I get everything is expensive nowadays and they too had to increase their prices as any business should but I believe the portion for $9 can be a bit larger.

I just wanted to leave a review to say I've never had anything but great experiences at this Save Mart! The employees are all friendly and provide great service, and I enjoy the shopping experience there. The only reason I don't go more often is because it's very expensive. They have the best produce in town that is fresh and consistent. Love my Hanford Save Mart!

Their prices are still higher than most, but the redeeming quality of exceptional customer service has seemingly disappeared. There are still a few employees who seem to genuinely care, and we appreciate them. My wife and I recently encountered the worst checker we have ever experienced. I'll attempt to describe her: a woman in her late 40s to 50s with longer gray hair, a fuller build, and a demeanor that simply seemed not to care. She never spoke, despite my attempts to offer a friendly greeting. At one point, I even asked if she could hear me. When it became obvious that she wasn't going to bag our groceries or even offer to help, my wife and I ended up bagging all six bags of groceries ourselves. Throughout the entire process, there was absolutely no comment, acknowledgment, or reaction from the checker. We've been customers of this store for nearly 40 years. We've remained loyal despite increasing competition, but disrespectful and indifferent employees are what may finally convince us that it's time to look elsewhere. We're genuinely saddened to see one of our favorite stores decline so significantly in customer service. It's disappointing to see a place we've supported for nearly four decades lose one of the qualities that once made it special.

My issue is with management. 50% of the time that I go there, shopping carts are no where to be found accept out in the parking lot, and when they are in the designated spot, the spot is usually dirty, ugly and it is sad and irritating that people don't take pride on what they do. Last week the Dairy shelf was out of their First Street 2% milk gallons. I was told that the staff or stockers sucked. PLEASE DO BETTER!

Because I'm 73 and my hands hurt, I have special bags that are easier to carry from my car into the house when I get home, so it was important for me to go get them. My car was in the first handicapped space right in front of the door and I knew it would only take me a second to dash out and get them; there was only one woman behind me so I told her and the checker what happened, had her go ahead and go in front of me, and I ran out for just a few seconds, and hit my bags. But when I came back, there were five people behind her. I was stressed and didn't know what to do because I didn't want to jump the line, but 1/2 of my groceries had gone though the conveyer belt. The checker "Yolanda" saw my distress and leaned over and said to me "it's OK, I've got you, I put your things aside right here next to me and I'll just bring them to you when you get up here". I was so relieved by her kindness I was nearly in tears. When I finally got to her she was even more sweet and patient. She rang me up, bagged my groceries for me, and actually walked around her counter and put my bags into my cart for me. She had noticed that I gave her many more bags than I would need, and when I saw her begin to bag them I'd asked her to please use more of the bags to keep them light because I had a hard time lifting them. So of course (considering the caring heart that I'd already seen she had) she even put them in the cart for me. Yolanda is the epitome of what customer service personnel should be like, but sadly that kind of friendly and helpful service is found less and less often. Smart & Final, my advice is that you should Immediately promote Jessica to training your staff. I've been a manager and have trained staff in varied areas of business, and I'd steal her from you in a second if I wasn't retired. That girl is management material and should at the very least be a training supervisor. She's one in a million.

Good market with plenty of fresh selections and about anything one might want or need in a grocery store. The place is clean and well organized. I miss the local items sections although I did find His Hive Honey so that was nice. Upon check out I find myself standing in one or two lines open with customers packed full of shopping carts ahead of me. For claiming to be "express" this part ruins it. Otherwise a good store, with ample parking and good selection. Come for the convenience and produce. Be prepared to stand in a long check out line.

I know that sounds like a strange word to use for meat on shelves, but everything looks so good and so fresh, and the way they are laid out so neatly it's just very pleasing to the eye. You will see that in my photos. Also the prices are quite reasonable considering nowadays prices. And one more thing that makes the meat department special is that they have nice, thick bags to put the meat in so that they won't bleed all over your other groceries. On top of that, as you'll see in the photos, all of the cuts of meat are listed on the bag, which is really helpful. There are two butchers there who you can ask questions of or have meat sliced or cubed or whatever you want to do with it. Now that's a special service. The other thing I also love about this store is that someone has an eye for design. Every single item on every single shelf is facing forward and perfectly stacked, nothing out of place. They must patrol the place just to tidy up. (I guess I have outed my OCD tendencies with comments on how well everything is stacked and displayed. ) And last but definitely not least was Courtney, my checker. She was not only very friendly and made eye contact with me and smiled to greet me when I approached her check stand, but she was also fast as lightning checking me out, and I was really impressed with that. I do wish there had been a box person there to help box my groceries though, because she and I had to do it, and I am an older lady and I have trouble lifting things. I also would've been nice to have them come out to the car with me and lift them into the car. SaveMart always offers this service and I really appreciate it. Maybe they were just shorthanded today? This is the only reason for the first stars instead of five. And again, take into account they might've been shorthanded that day. The photo with the little green fruit is just because they all looked like they were smiling at me and I thought they were cute. The prices are high for a lot of items but not for all, but so are everyone else's prices.
