We tried Sandpiper's Nudist RV Resort for the first time in 2021. We chose to stay for a month because we'd never been to a nudist resort before. We had so much fun and enjoyed the hospitality so much, that we came back 2 months later. In 2022, we decided to spend our whole winter season at Sandpipers. Then again in 2023. For my review, I'm going to concentrate on two things: RV features and activities.
RV Features: they have over 115 spaces with 50 amp service and full hookups. All spaces are twice as wide as you normally see in RV Resorts and are made of concrete. The streets are wide enough that you can back into any of the sites easily. They do have a row of sites that are extra deep to accommodate the really big buses. Most sites have multiple shade trees on them.
Activities: Well, I have to admit, I was immediately hooked on Naked Water Volleyball! It's a crowd favorite here and they have a pool with two designated courts. During the winter season, it's not uncommon to see games of 8 on 8 and 5 on 5 going at the same time.
Other big outdoor activities at Sandpiper include Pickle Ball and Potanque. People play both every day. Then there is the sunbathing and pool floating. It's relaxing.
There also is nightlife. Some nights there is live music. Some nights they have dances with a DJ. Some nights they have Karaoke. In addition, they have 'Pub Nights'. Pub Nights have an open bar with top-shelf labels, craft draft beers, etc. Just show up and meet a crowd of friendly people!
