Now that I am in my seventies, and feel it's time to sell my home and move into an apartment, I am still keeping my now renter's insurance with State Farm. When I called to change over, I learned from Alyssa Roman, one of the agents in the office, who would not put me in touch with Glisel, that, because I have to cancel my homeowner's insurance and carry renter's insurance instead, my car insurance premium must go up in price! I am so very upset and disappointed that, after being a loyal customer for 40 years, this is the case. I didn't so much as receive a call from Glisel after telling Alyssa that I was very upset and wanted to speak with her. I thought she would at least reach out to me after all these years. As if getting older and leaving my home isn't hard enough, now I'm faced with the added punishment of having my rates go up! Incidentally, I'm driving a 17 year old car and have a good driving record. Sad. Very sad. My previous very favorable opinion has changed drastically due to this incident. I am so very disappointed.
