This was filled with more potatoes and peas than meat.

We stopped by to try some gyro, this place was busy on a weekday evening. Located in a strip mall right off highway 10. We checked out the menu and ordered at the counter. Restaurant was good size to dine in, all the tables were small. Mostly for parties of 2 to 4. There was something about the vibe that you know the food is good if this place is busy. Big menu, offers so many variety of food. Sandwich, burgers, wraps, dinner plates, gyro, chicken wings, drinks, and desserts! Make your sandwich a combo and help yourself to a soda in the fridge.

All of gotta say is I can't wait to go back and try their mac and cheese chicken shawarma wrap!!! It seemed to be a top order from every other customers who came into the restaurant. I had the Monster sandwich combo which was filled with chopped gyro meat, grilled onions, lettuce and cucumber sauce. Very good sandwich but it was messy! It helped to cut it in half before trying to grab it and devour it. Fries were delicious. They're the coated crispy fries which in my book are the best kind. Also got talked into getting their mango juice and no regret there! It's not so much a juice but more like a smoothie. It was pretty thick but my taste buds and stomach loved it. I also had to get a few of their tres Leche cakes to go. Everyone there were getting some! And I find out why. They were bomb! Overall, if you haven't checked out Sandwich King, you should make it a definite stop.

Flavor was amazing, portions were beyond generous (rice bowl could've served three adults at least), and the service was so friendly. Kids devoured the gyro fries and the mango drink was gone in minutes. The gyro meat on the fries was our favorite and they didn't skimp on the meat, to say the least. The chicken rice bowl was a dream and unbelievable for the price. They were very busy when we stopped for lunch, but came out to check on us and other tables, were quick on their to go orders, and helped us celebrate my daughter's birthday. The kids also enjoyed one the fun cakes with plenty of leftovers. I cannot wait to go back. The wraps looked fantastic, too! It's in a small space so seating is limited and to go orders seemed to be the majority, but we enjoyed eating in and seeing other dishes come out. Definitely add to your list!

Buffalo Chicken burrito- holy massive portions!! And it was so tasty!! Great flavors!!

After passing this place several times, I knew I had to give them a shot! Don't wait like I did, just get to this place! It's located in a strip mall with plenty of free parking. When I walked in a was greeted right away and even though I looked at the website before I went in, everything looked so amazing and it was hard to pick!! The vibes here are very casual and it takes about 10-15 mins to get your food after you order! There is an order ahead option! The employees I interacted with were very sweet! Food: Get the mint lemonade! It tastes like a nonalcoholic mojito! I also heard the strawberry juice is amazing but I had to save that for next time! The fries were crispy and well done but not life changing haha. The buffalo chicken burrito was so tasty and HUGE!! The portions here are so big! I also got the biscoff cookie dessert! So tasty! But there were so many options to pick from! I will absolutely recommend this place to anyone and will be back!!

Modern vibes and flavorful food is all you need sometimes. Sandwich King is comfort food blasted full of flavor. What we ordered - Buffalo chicken fries King rice bowl Mac and cheese shawarma Gyro Burger Mango juice All these items were worth trying, my all star favs is definitely the chicken rice bowl & mango juice recommended to me by the lovely daughter of the owner. Thank you for the good food and the yummy juice!

Sandwich King: Where Sandwiches Go to Become Legends Okay, real talk -- I walked into Sandwich King thinking I'd grab a quick bite. I walked out questioning every sandwich I've ever had before. This place SLAPS. Like, existential-crisis-level slaps. A friend of mine always says the mark of a great restaurant is a crowd. We went on a Monday -- not exactly peak foodie hour -- and the place was packed. And it's not even that big! People were posted up, DoorDash and Uber Eats orders flying out nonstop. If that doesn't scream "this place is FIRE," I don't know what does. Mac & Cheese Chicken Shawarma - Whoever invented this deserves a Nobel Prize in Deliciousness. Creamy mac meets juicy shawarma in a sandwich that tastes like a hug from your favorite aunt who also happens to be a spice wizard. Gyro Lettuce Wraps - These wraps are so good they should come with a seatbelt. Flavor-packed, fresh, and gone in 3 bites. I blacked out from joy and came to with an empty plate. Shrimp Philly Cheese Sandwich - Shrimp. Cheese. Sandwich. I didn't know this combo was legal, but here we are. It's like a Philly cheesesteak went on spring break and came back with a tan and a new attitude. The staff? Chill and lovely. All the ladies at the counter were warm, polite, and genuinely friendly -- the kind of service that makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. The whole vibe is like your cool cousin opened a sandwich shop and decided to flex hard. 10/10 would recommend. Bring napkins. And stretchy pants. You'll need both. Side plug to the Sandwich King crew: Downtown St. Paul is calling. We need you. We are your people. Please bless us with your sandwich sorcery!

I have been to Sandwich King 2 times in one week! The flavors are unstoppable! Plus they are Halal and pork free so I don't have to worry (as I don't eat pork). The inside is very clean and I love the playing card theme and black, red and white pop art. Food: Mac and Cheese Shawarma wrap with GG sauce- such a large wrap with tons of flavor. It's comforting and delicious. The Mac and cheese is comforting and well made. They should sell it on its own! Buffalo Chicken fries- Obsessed with these! I would recommend eating these in the cafe vs taking to go. Or at least letting them cool before putting in to go box. Get extra gg sauce (green sauce) and you won't regret it. The chicken is flavorful and juicy. Possibly the best spin on buffalo chicken flavors around! Not too spicy with that GG sauce! Get a mango juice to help cool it down. I recommend splitting the wrap and get the fries to share with someone. So good! Or you can upgrade to a combo and get fries. Dessert- The Biscoff cake (I love my Biscoff) and Ferrero Rocher chocolate cake are evil good! They are very much like a Tres Leches or Better than everything cake. Overall, this is one of my favorite new hidden gems. They have it all and I am sad I didn't come here sooner!

Never thought I'd have Egyptian food this good in Minnesota, but here we are!!! When I saw that Sandwich King had Koshari, Egyptian mango juice, and the most enticing sandwiches, I had to try it out. I've been twice now and literally everything is amazing and the portions are huge. - Koshari: Egyptian street food, vegetarian, carb heaven - Chicken shawerma: classic wrap, seasoned well and has good texture with the fries in it. It can get greasy if you save some for later and reheat it, though still delicious - Buffalo chicken burrito: wow, the sauce and flavors on this are amazing - Mango juice: I had heartbrokenly given up on mangos in MN, but sandwich king imports mangos from Egypt for their fresh mango juice and YUM. So incredibly tasty! - Beef shawerma: greasier than I like so I will stick to chicken, but others loved it so it's just a matter of personal preference Dined in once and did takeout once- both experiences were perfect!

Had the chance to check out Sandwich King in Mounds View and this spot did not disappoint. I tried their chicken mac and cheese shawarma and that was hands down my favorite item. Me and my brother both loved it when we stopped in. The flavor combo was crazy in the best way and it really stood out on the menu. I also tried the king bowl which had a mix of flavors that made it a really unique and satisfying dish. It gave a nice balance of savory and fresh. The Philly cheesesteak and fries were solid too. The sandwich was packed with flavor, fresh to order, and had great portion size. The gyro was another hit. It was fire and definitely a decent size. You really get your bang for your buck at this spot. We also grabbed milkshakes and they were amazing. My brother had the Baja Blast milkshake and I had the mango milkshake made with mangoes imported straight from Egypt. That milkshake was on point and super refreshing. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the vibe inside was clean and chill. There's a decent amount of seating and the parking lot was stress-free. Easy in and out which is always a plus. All in all, this spot is a win. The food is flavorful, the prices are reasonable compared to other spots in the Twin Cities, and the overall experience was great. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

A little drive turned into a big win! I took a small road trip (45 mins, lol)to check out Sandwich King, and let me tell you, it was so worth it. The place has a cute, cozy, family-filled vibe that instantly made me feel at home. I ordered the rice plate with steak (no tomatoes), and I was thoroughly surprised. The steak was perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. Every bite was better than the last. It's one of those meals you think about after you've already eaten it! The staff was kind and welcoming, and you can tell it's a spot that takes pride in its food and its customers. I'm already planning my next visit to try more from the menu. If you're debating the drive.. go. You won't regret it!

When I tell you Sandwich King is one of the best hidden gems of the Twin Cities!!! This place is sooo underrated yet SO GOOD! From their Mac and cheese shawarma, to their Dubai chocolate shake, to the best Buffalo chicken fries you'll ever have - they do not miss! Their service is impeccable with the kindest and most generous people you'll ever meet! Love that this place is affordable yet deliver such high quality food! And they don't skimp on portions either!! They have a good number and tables to sit and absolutely love the vibe of this spot! I can't recommend Sandwich King enough - highly recommend trying their Buffalo chicken fries and their new fruit juices (strawberry & mango) Already excited to go back and try more foods!!

I went to Sandwich King for the 1st time after seeing they started offering Koshari ( Egyptian street food) along with 2 other street food sandwiches. It is a small place, fast food menu. But in the small place they fit multiple tables if you are choosing to dine in. Saw many people pick up food as well. Service was fast, and staff was friendly and quick to answer questions. They had a deli case with multiple desserts and a cooler with cans of soda, no fountain drinks. I think their social media mentions some specialty drinks, but didn't see any signage for it. We had the Koshari and Kebda sandwich. I absolutely loved the Koshari! It is a vegetarian dish, brown lentils, chick peas, macaroni and spaghetti noodles, rice and 4 different tangy, tomato, and garlic sauces. All mixed together! Last time I had this tasting as good was at the old Festival of Nations. The ones at the Minnesota State Fair lacked flavor. This one was exactly right! The Kebda sandwich was also good! Tasted like it had liver and steak and sauces. They are right off Hwy 10 in Moundsview and have plenty of parking in this small strip mall.

This place is delicious. The Mac and cheese shawarma and the jumbo gyro were both delicious. The fries were the coated kind and also great. Portion sizes were good and the price was right. Also tried the Dubai chocolate shake and loved that. Took a while to actually get our order almost 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches, but they were made fresh so no complaints just prepare for a bit of a wait maybe. There was a group of 6 ahead of us too. The lady that took our order was very nice. Interior shows they put some effort into it, it's not just bland.
