Placed my order on the Net and waited just over 35mins. which I thought was not bad. Had two courses, Prawn Puri followed by Lamb Madras, Garlic Rice, two sides and a Garlic Naan. When the first dish was opened I thought this looks a bit oily but it wasn't. Beautifully cooked, well flavoured with spices, hot and garnished with lemon, salad and dressing. Cleaned the plate. The main course was just as good, well cooked, tender pieces of lamb, spicy, hot sauce, tender rice flavoured with garlic, as was the Naan, garnished with chopped salad, lemon and a yoghurt dressing. The two sides, Spinach and Onion where just as good. I must admit that I struggled but in the end I cleaned the plate. I was tempted to order another meal on Sunday but thought that would be just greedy so didn't but I shall definitely by ordering from there again. Good food, good service, good time for delivery and value for money. A good night and only two plates to wash up.

He had the mouth of a crocodile, the nose of a dog, the eyes of a tarsier. His rough purple tongue was hanging limp out the side of his mouth in a way that was so grotesque and visually distressing I had the urge to squeeze my eyes shut to make it all disappear. Once I finally got the strength to order my food, everything only got worse. It was cold. So cold. Not lukewarm, but icy. Frigid. The fries had a strange texture. Too... gummy. A bit chewy. And they had a slight... bluish hue. Or it was just a trick of the light? The burger wasn't much better. It was raw. I don't mean it was kissed by flames; it was entirely untouched. And still frozen. The imposter at the counter clearly didn't see too many customers, so he couldn't perfect his craft. I will always remember that night. It lingers in my mind. Now I walk more carefully. The Grapevine is one of the only independent off licences in our area. It is a real local shop run…read moreby a very friendly couple. They sell a brilliant range of brands as extremely reasonible prices. They are also very helpful and will order in any items that they may not have. They are one of the only shops in Folkestone to sell some items such as Sailor Jerry rum. They also have a good selection of international largers that include many Polish and Czech bands. They have a good selection of real ales, including many from the local area. I would much rather spend my money in this shop than in the local supermarkets as they are very fairly priced and offer fantastic customer service.
