Headed to Sandy Dunes Adventure Golf to waste some time and have a bit of family fun. It's a nice sized place that not only offers putt putt, but also has a small arcade room with a few claw and pinball machines, as well as an ice cream shop. They were really easy to find while driving down the road, and they also have a nice large parking lot, and clean bathroom facilities available. Also, the staff was fantastic and friendly, they made us feel really welcomed. Unfortunately it was raining when we first arrived, so we played some games before grabbing some ice cream snacks. My youngest was thrilled that they even had non-dairy ice cream options, she feels so special when places are considerate of those with allergies. They had a nice outdoor seating area, with half being under a roof so we didn't get rained on. After eating, the weather had cleared, so we began our putt putt adventure. The greens, and surrounding areas, were all really well maintained. We genuinely had a lot of fun, and we will definitely make another visit when back in town. read more

Great mini golf course that has you climb higher and higher and then come back down again. They also have amazing ice cream too! My fiance and I have golfed here a few times and it's always been a great experience. The holes are a lot of fun and sometimes pretty challenging. I think I've gotten one hole in one throughout all of our attempts. My fiance on the other hand, has had quite a few so maybe I'm just bad at golfing. We get a large waffle cone of ice cream after we're done too. I typically get Blue Moon or Superman. It's a lot of ice cream but so delicious! read more

Beautifully maintained place! They have taken many safety precautions to stay clean due to COVID-19- cleaning putters after every use, no inside entry, outdoor restroom, etc. Ice cream is fantastic as well. read more

Really pretty place and good putt putt course. Needs to improve ice cream...I ordered vanilla in a cup with caramel...I threw it out. Caramel was just a hard clump and daughter ordered chocolate shake and got a vanilla, nephew got chocolate shake and it tasted like coffee...? Also the music included lots of profanity...not family friendly. I hope they improve so we can try again. read more

This is the best putt putt golf in the area it is actually a mini adventure when you play. there's a little waterfall and it is actually a challenge on some of the holes. I prefer this one over the other local ones such as kooky golf that are just a flat green with a couple obstacles around it. where at Sandy dunes you actually have to have a little skill. There is an area inside where you can also buy ice cream and sit down and relax after you play 18 holes of putt putt golf. It's kind of neat this little treasure is up north kind of in the middle of nowhere but worth driving too for some fun. read more

We had a great round of golf here tonight! All of us (kids, teenagers, and adults) enjoyed ourselves. The golf course was very well kept and pleasant. We loved the water features and the landscaping. My daughter loved the map in the lobby that guests could put a pushpin in to show where you are from. The service was great and the staff were very friendly! We enjoyed ice cream at their dairy bar after golf. We highly recommend and will be back next time we're in the area! read more

Absolute hidden gem of a course, in a great location. Sandy Dunes is back open under new ownership and I gotta say.. it's better than it's ever been!! Beautiful landscaping! The course is multi-level, and one hole features rocks that your ball hits as it rolls down the green towards the hole. There are raised tee mats, rubber putters, and metal cups in the holes, but overall, the course is well-maintained and scenic. Many holes feature rock obstacles of some sort and one even has your ball fall into a stream, and then it is tunneled out on a green below. read more

We LOVED this place! So well kept up and clean! The staff was following COVID-19 guidelines by masking up, not re-using the golf pencils, and sanitizing clubs and golf balls regularly. You don't go inside - there is a walk-up window for mini-golf, and another one to order ice cream. The course is 2-3 par, takes about 1 hour for 4 players; greens aren't damaged; waterfalls and a couple tricky holes. We also got ice cream; and while kind of costly; it was really good! Highly recommend this place while visiting the area; or even a day trip! read more

The most beautiful and well maintained miniature golf course I have ever played at. The owner was delightfully helpful and very serious about Covid precautions. She actually remodeled her office and ice cream parlor to keep her customers and staff safe from contracting the corona virus. I highly recommend this golf course for a fun and safe game and a delicious ice cream treat. I took my boys (5 & 10) here for a fun adventure. It was worth the drive! They loved it! The price is a bit steep but the course is very well maintained and the landscaping well cared for. It was busy when we were there but everyone played quickly and we got through in an hour or so. The snack area had a bunch of different options for before or after golf. Great course, lots of tricks and twists, water features and hills. Clean and well-maintained. Fun way to spend part of an afternoon! They have a dairy bar (ice cream shop) and a small game room, which we did not partake of, but the cones and sundaes that others were getting looked delicious. Hot dogs and nachos also. read more

Very well maintained, clean, and lovely course. The course is surrounded by woods which lends to the pretty atmosphere. The mother daughter team working there (the owners, I believe) were very friendly and welcoming. Lots of shady places along the course for resting. We did the course with a baby stroller and it was no problem. Lots of yummy ice cream choices for after playing. Prices were reasonable ($7 for big kids and adults, $4 for little kids as of July 2014). Definitely a fun activity for the family! read more

It should be called "Mystery Golf". The playing surface is awful. Not on just a couple of holes, but almost all of them. You hit the ball straight and you never know where it going to go! I only gave it two stars because the facilities and landscaping are very nice and well cared for. The staff are very friendly and the ice cream good. read more

This was a touristy thing to do in the evening when we were all a little tired form the day's adventures. We had passed it while zipping up and down Route 25. All mini golf joints are largely the same, BUT this place is definitely exceptional. Incredible landscaping, which you might say is trivial, but in fact it tells you they keep the place up very well. Lots of flowers. The course is very imaginative. They have a very nice ice cream parlor inside as well. Unfortunately they were playing live Jimmy Buffett, which is music from hell, but otherwise it was a very good experience. Highly recommend. read more

Great place! The prices were reasonable ($28 for 4 people) and we were very impressed by the course. It was beautifully landscaped, well maintained, and a fun challenge for adults and children.
