Small, cramped and stuffed full of shrink-wrapped gift sets, boxed lotions and cure-alls, this wee little pharmacy is another lovely reminder of Sandymount's elegant Victorian (Edwardian? Georgian?) past, kept fresh as can be managed today.
The ladies behind the counter are the welcoming, friendly sort of staff that encourages repeat custom. They'll do their very best to fill every prescription quickly, even if that means getting a motorcycle courier to zip the stuff down on the back of a bike!
As far as I'm aware, medication prices in Ireland are standard so there's no bargain hunting to be had there. For those on a budget it's best to steer clear of the beauty and health products stocked here -most can be had at lower cost elsewhere in town. read more
