The Director along with the teachers, go above and beyond for all of the children. The love and dedication they demonstrate definitely does not go unnoticed. The design and structure of the space is filled with fun touches, from the little village in the hallway, to the movie theater and the adorable little kitchen area. Everything is always extremely clean and well managed. The Kidsreports app is very comforting. We receive daily updates which include photos, activities and a meal/snack log. This application also allows us to communicate with the teachers and director. Cadence Academy has not only provided a great space for my son to learn and develop new friendships, but has also become such an important addition to our family. We truly love all of the staff, but wanted to personally thank Ms. Jamie, Ms. Kristen, Ms Leonora and Ms. Julie for always taking such good care of our son...you guys hold such a special place in our hearts. I definitely recommend Cadence Academy for those with littles ones.

Every time we drive by, they excitedly wave out the window and yell, "Hi, Diana!" That alone speaks volumes about the love and care they've received. From day one, Diana made me feel completely at ease. Before her, I had never sent my children outside our home for daycare, so this was a huge leap of faith for our family. After meeting her and seeing her interact with my boys during a trial playdate, I knew they were in wonderful hands. I have never once felt nervous leaving them with her. Diana goes above and beyond in every way. She is an excellent communicator, keeps a daily journal of the children's activities for parents to read, and regularly sends home printed photos that have become treasured keepsakes for our family. She is consistently upbeat, patient, and brings so much positivity into her home each day. What makes Diana truly exceptional is that she doesn't simply supervise children - she genuinely engages with them. She thoughtfully plans activities, encourages learning through play, and creates an environment where the children build meaningful friendships and a true sense of community. My boys absolutely flourished in her care. I also deeply appreciate how responsible and attentive she is. During bad weather or power outages, she always reached out to check in with parents and keep us informed about how the children were doing. That level of care and professionalism meant so much to us. Our family's needs have changed now that our boys are starting school, but choosing to leave Diana has been bittersweet. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has done for our family, and if we ever need childcare again, she will be the very first person we call. Thank you, Diana, for loving our boys so well. We couldn't have asked for a better daycare provider.

She has been very reliable, easy to work with and has always taken great care of our children. Finding a daycare isn't the easiest thing to do but we took comfort our kids were in good hands. Director Amanda is excellent and responsive. My son was in the Pre-K room there and my daughter in the 2s and then Preschool Rooms. Megan is/was the Pre-K teacher and I adored her. She was open and up front with the parents. Which is always appreciated. Paulina was my daughter's teacher for the majority of the time she was there and I miss her. She was sunshine. A couple of things I didn't care for: When we'd pick up the kids (at 4:15) my daughter's preschool class was often mixed in with the Pre-K class. And the same when we'd drop them off in the morning. At those times, I kind of felt like they were never doing anything....always running around playing but not doing anything organized. And by running around playing I mean that it came across as complete chaos sometimes. In the end the school did not offer Kindergarten so that is why we pulled my kids out. The school is pretty new, considering the ages of many of the places around here...so I think in time and when there are more kids there, that the kink I mentioned above may work themselves out.

The teachers actually notice and care about him. He's also had the experience of attending the Bartlett park district pre school and there is no comparison. Obviously there is a huge difference in tuition. In this case you get what you pay for. It's organized, clean and well structured. My son has never had a problem being left there for the whole day. He attends 2 full days a week. In fact he's happy to go and is disappointed when it's not a school day. The Principal Karen has been great with us. She's been flexible, accommodating and really nice. I whole heartedly give this school a five star rating.

My daughter is now 6 and returned just for summer on certain days and I can't get over how much unpleasantness you feel just from walking in here. The teacher also seems to be extremely sarcastic about anything with these school age kids room. I'm honestly going to reach out to their corporate because they have just declined and this was a daycare I raved about for years and sent many families too. Such a shame since they are so more expensive than most in the area.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Mini Steps! As a former employee (director…read morequalified) of five years at KinderCare and an early education major, I held Mini Steps to high standards going in. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised to realize that I could drop my children off at a "non-chain" daycare and receive exceptional care at an affordable price. My youngest son started attending Mini Steps when he was only 10 weeks old. As a single mom, nothing was harder for me than leaving my newborn at daycare while I went to work every day. The quality of loving care and nurturing that he received on a daily basis from Ms. Marie and Ms. Jan was beyond any of my expectations. I quickly felt at ease leaving my newborn at Mini Steps in the loving and capable hands of the staff there. As my newborn grew and moved up to the toddler room, the transition was so easy and natural because he was already so comfortable and attached to Ms. Jan. From the toddler room he moved on to the 2s room with Ms. Sarah and again, I have nothing but amazing things to say. Ms. Sarah loved my son as she loved her own, and I knew that he was in the best hands possible. In the 3s room with Ms. Robbin and the 4s room with Ms. Barbara my son grew into the adorable, stubborn, hard-headed, sweet, hilarious, and smart child that he is today. He loved going to school and playing with his friends, and I loved how much he was learning through play and not even realizing it! My oldest son was a schoolager when he started Mini Steps in first grade. We both love Ms. Kay and cannot say enough wonderful things about her! She is a teacher and friend to her students, which can sometimes be a hard combination, but it comes as second nature to Ms. Kay. Not only is she caring and compassionate, she is strict when she needs to be. I recently purchased a new home in a new school district and had no other choice but to remove my children from Mini Steps. I cried on their last day. How do you say "Thank You" to the amazing teachers who helped you raise your children for 5 years?? Words just don't seem like enough. Tracie and Moe, thank you for giving me peace of mind every single day for 5 years while I was away from my boys. Thank you to the entire staff of Mini Steps for loving my boys the way I do. I will forever be grateful. xoxo
