Cute, spiffy clean lodging within walking distance to many things.
Our 1st floor (in Portugal, this is the first floor above ground floor) double room had comfy bed, was a good size, nicely decorated and amazingly quiet despite overlooking a busy street.
Our corner room had 4 large windows, 2 with Juliet balconies, a mini fridge and a small shower in the bath. My biggest issues with our room were in the bathroom. 1) no hooks anywhere, 2) the shower drain was easily closed off if you stepped wrong (why do you even have a shower drain that closes?), 3) shower was very small. They could easily reduce the sink area for a bigger shower and add a shelf or two to make up for a smaller sink.
There are interior wood shutters for all the windows that do a nice job blocking light at night.
My favorite part of the guest house is the communal mini kitchen. Pods of coffee are available for the cool coffee maker along with a tin of sugar packets as well as some tea bags. A sink with dish rack, a hot water kettle and microwave completed the counter area. The kitchen is roomy enough to include a table with 4 chairs, two lounge chairs and a few side tables. There is a kitchen tv also but no remote to be found. read more
