NOT SAFE FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN…read more Staff at uncle toms cabin (The female and male owner) physically tried to make my 4, 6 and 7 yeah old leave by shouting abuse at them and grabbing their arms.... my children were only choosing a sandwich.... and had already paid for a hotdog of which we were waiting ... the owners acting like they were thugs and completely over reacting not even trying to approach me before being very aggressive and cruel in there attitude towards young playful children. These people may have had bad experiences with unaccompanied youths in the past but it's no excuse to treat children from nice families this way..... I have had to take two days to calm down as nearly called the police..... They felt so sure they were justified in the response of pulling a little boys arm...???? The owner (who was having a photo shoot at the time) refused to apologize to my little ones and they really needed one as they were very upset and crying! He just stood there like a wall infront of the sandwiches. Like a bouncer....Over reaction of the century! Just be careful if you do go as children are not tolerated.... and will be physically removed. Such a shame as it looks like a family orientated establishment.

The food is always freshly cooked and extremely tasty and unlike a lot of takeaways where you can taste the oil it was cooked in, the food from the Oriena has always been excellent. The portions are about the right size and on occasion I have asked then to cook something slightly different to what is shown on the menu, and my request has been accepted without problem. You will pay slightly more for the experience, but believe me it is worth every penny. Telephone orders are normally ready between 15 and 45 minutes and they also do a delivery service, however this gets busy so expect to wait longer for your food. The takeaway itself has seating and newspapers and there are a number of display cabinets around the walls full of Chinese gifts all of which are for sale.
