Great course walking distance from the house we rented. Easy to get on early. Friendly staff. Course was in great shape. Greens were rolling a little slower than what I'm used to, but were still in great shape. read more

If you're not familiar with the course, you may miss the actual green to aim for. Luckily my playing partner noticed a big #7 behind one of the greens. Seeing the Rock of Gibraltar in the background of many shots is unique experience. Really cool. Anytime you can get to a course with ocean views, take it. That's the easiest advice I can give anyone. The greens were immaculate and true to form. When the round was over, I had a very good Club Sandwich and beer at the restaurant to cap off the round. Any trip to Southwest Spain would be incomplete without a round at Alcaidesa.

I walk with crutches and use a wheelchair when I was there I used the waterprrof crutches they have to walk into the sea with. The crutches have extra wide rubber bases for stability which stop them sinking into the sand. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, newspaper shops even large supermarket all within 200 metres of the beach. Cant recommend this place enough. Free access and no charge for use of services.
