It was great to find someplace open on a Sunday, and they are close to home. They were a little…read morebusy when we got there around 10:30am, but they are fast. None of the workers came out to greet us or ask if we needed any help when we first got there. There was one guy who politely asked if I needed help bringing my garbage bins up to the weighing area while I was already in line, which I gladly accepted. The cashier was friendly, quick to sort the bins, weigh, and pay. The area is a little tight with a few dedicated parking spots. It is between the liquor store and the auto parts store, in a driveway into the shopping center. So it's busy with traffic, other customers and not the cleanest area, but they got the job done, and I was grateful that they were open on a Sunday. I'll use them again!

I crush my cans at home and separate the plastic bottles in different bags. This makes the dumping of recycling easier when I get to Ocean's. I am able to bring a couple of cans and in one can put the aluminum and in the other, the plastic bottles. I do collect months at a time and then go to Ocean's with a bigger haul with bags of both plastic and cans to recycle and I do end up getting anywhere between $30-$40. This is my go to recycling place and I highly recommend you recycle and check out Ocean's Recycling!

Signs instruct drivers where to wait and to turn off their engine. A nice gentleman came out to assist us, and took everything out of the trunk without us having to even get out of the car! Nice. When I entered the facility I was greeted by Vincent. Vincent was polite and very helpful. He weighed the items and gave me a receipt. The customer service is top notch and the value of bringing it in is priceless. They do offer pickup but it is cheaper to bring it in. If you are looking for a place to bring old computers, printers and other tech equipment this is the place to go.

We will find another vendor, but I did not appreciate being told it was because we are dishonest, rude, and "stealing" from them.... All we said is we are going to recycle it this time but would ask the manager about next time and within 5mins another "gentleman" shows up to say we were cancelled, and they are going to take everything INCLUDING the wire. HE was RUDE along with the 2 immature employees giggling in the back ground (all on camera). This could have been solved by the employees simply letting us remove the wire from the bin. They are located in South Natomas, on Northgate Blvd., in the same plaza as Jack's Donut Wheel (in the back area). I've only been here twice and each experience was quick and simple. First, make sure your plastic, aluminum, and glass are separated. Put each type of recyclable in its own grey garbage can. I B Recycling staff weighs the garbage cans and another worker writes down the weight and calculates the amount owed. After you sign on the sheet, she gives you cash for your recyclables! It's that simple! They are open Monday through Saturday, 9:00am - 6:00pm, but they close for lunch from 12pm-1pm. Do not bring glass to be recycled after 5:00pm. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I was initially referred here by another recycling center that had unreliable hours. So far, I B Recycling has been reliable with their stated hours. They were even open on Indigenous People's Day, when the banks were closed. Tip - the mini Yakult plastic bottles (#61) receive the highest return, $5.01/lb! Also, the money they offer for glass bottles can be a little more than some other recycling centers.

Lines move quickly when your items are good to go. I come separated so it's easy for me to move in and out. My old place started falling off and being closed randomly. So far the last 2 years i have been coming they have been open when said and they update the hours if needed. Location has Parking spots on the side of the donut building or behind has another entrance. They do accept glass here too just not after 5:00pm. They have lunch between 12:00 - 1:00pm. Go green and recycle and get some green back in your pocket.
