With the one closest to my home having closed up around the time of the pandemic the only other option was one that is about 11 or so blocks walk with a couple of avenues tossed in as well. All that aside I did find myself needing to drop in because I still had a very old bankcard and needed to replace this and make sure the very latest information was on file for me just in case of emergencies. After checking in at the self-check in kiosk, I sat in a comfortable chair and waited my turn. It was mid afternoon and not too crowded and I was third up. Once I got to the branch representative that was to help me I was able to sort out my issue of the bankcard and get any modifications that needed to be reflected on my account done I was off. The whole experience was smooth as silk and the representative very cordial. As a consumer who pretty much uses online and mobile devices for everything, its not a regular occurrence to stop into a branch. At this point I'd rather pay with a card or mobile than even use hand cash. Personal preference of course but I do like using TD Bank.

I usually go to Citi on 86th and 5th, but since that branch is closed due to COVID, I found myself at Bay Ridge Pkwy and 3rd. I exchanged my $20 for quarters and when I arrived home, it was clear that the sleeves were not equal in length, so I knew I was very literally shortchanged. Both sleeves were under $10. For my $20, I received $17.60... $2.40 short. Yes, you read that correct, $17.60... there were NICKELS in both quarter rolls- seven nickels to be precise. Photo below of what was received. I'm aware that there is a change shortage, but at no point was I told that I would be taxed or subject to an exchange rate for needing the quarters. I don't exactly think I can go back and attempt to prove that I was shorted, so as a warning to all in need of quarters, have your teller double check quarter rolls. So ridiculous.

The staff was professional, courteous and extremely helpful. I wish they did not close the 95th and 3rd Avenue location because it is a bit of a corp for me to get to this location. It's really sad that there are fewer and fewer Capital One banks, very few in Brooklyn and where I work in Manhattan.
