First booth on the right Beer and Shots! Haaaaay! $4 Jager shots and not sure about the beer but who cares after the $4 shots. At this point total score-I knew this night was gonna be good. How could it get any better? Walking around, there are so many trucks I haven't tried and want to but you only have so much room in your belly. LOL Started with an Asian flavor taco from Dragon Grille. That's it ....I just found my favorite food truck! Hands down it was the best darn taco and I will be hankerin for another till I find them out and about again! We all were completely impressed. The chickie in the front with the totally cute accent was helpful and such a sweetheart. Headed over to Sauced for the Big Easy Balls with Srirachi sauce. I had been told these are most awesome and I wanted to see for myself. Chicken and Rice formed into a ball and fried. Amazeballs! Talking about forgetting your diet for the night... Free Vegas StrEATS lanyard with Yelp checkin. Thanks! The vibe is pretty chill, everyone standing around juggling their drinks and food.....BECAUSE there is nowhere to sit other than a gross street ledge which I refused to sit. They definitely need some chairs of some sort but they know what they are doing. I'm sure there is a reason for not having the chairs/table set up. I see people complaining in the reviews regarding the downtown parking prices and some of the hotel garages just need your ticket validated inside the hotel before you leave-free parking peeps. Its not a secret or maybe it is. Anyways, what is better than cheap eats, flowin drinks, music and art? The whole night as usual with StrEATS was a success! =)

A…read morefestival that started out very unorganized and haphazard has become a regular fixture on my monthly calendar. I still am not sure how they decide which Saturday they are going to do this event. I've been the day after First Friday and I've been in the middle of the month. Part of the reason this gets 5 stars from me is that I live at The Ogden, so I literally walk down stairs from my place and BAM! Food Truck heaven. plus I like the addition of the local vendors selling their hand crafted wares. I'm not gonna buy most of it because its just not my style, but I'm all about small local vendors getting their shot. There's always a few regulars and a few change-ups each month. You can almost always count on Slidin Thru and Grouchy John's but the rest vary from month to month. And it's always a good mix of people in attendance. It's an all ages event so it usually draws that same crowd you see at First Friday, & it's FREE to get in so if you are in the area there is definitely no good reason to not check it out. My one main complaint is that there's around 4 or 5 tables total for the event. Therefore, there is always that awkward time after buying the food of walking around trying to find some place to post up and eat. For an event with as many attendees as this tends to get, and as much extra room as they have in the parking lot, whoever is in charge needs to get on this. It's a tiny little omission that would make a huge difference in the quality of the event.

Double the size of 2018, the Annual Asian Night Market was the place to be for one night only. Open…read morefrom 6PM to 11PM, the lines were long, anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour wait to get in. Admission was free when you signed up in advance on Eventbrite. Once inside, booths and plenty of food trucks awaited. There were about 20 different setups ranging from teas, dessert, hot dogs, sushi, ramen, noodles and more. Most lines went quick and the grub was served up fresh and hot, or cold if you chose meet fresh or fluff ice. The fam and I went this year so was easy for us to sample about 7 different foods from multiple booths / trucks. Tables to enjoy your food were available at each end and the entrance. It was a beautiful evening as the weather was in the 70-80's, perfect for an evening of sampling local hot spots and food trucks. Tip: Have each person stand in a separate line to maximize what you can order and share the food as it is served. Will be back next year to experience it again!

In just its second year, I missed the inaugural Las Vegas Asian Night Market as I was back home in…read moreHawaii at this time last year. Reading the reviews, it doesn't seem like I missed much, but after reading this review (for those who didn't attend last night's festivities) y'all didn't miss much, as there was so much more to be desired and so much more to still be improved upon. It also didn't help the fact that We recently came back from attending the Gold standard of night markets in North America, The Richmond Night Market in Canada which has been around since 2000, boasting over 100 food vendors and over 200 market vendors in an open, 18-acre lot, various games, exhibits, and a main event stage that caters to the 1 MILLION attendees every year. Back to our "night market", the overall vibe felt like a very poorly thought out block party. For the 10,000 people who attended last night, here's some highs and lows of the festivities in my eyes: Highs: 10,000+ in attendance means that there's a demand for events like this Great effort to the people responsible for putting this together . Now the Lows/Points of improvement: BIGGER, OPEN LOT With attendance guaranteed to grow next year, a bigger open area is SUPER necessary. A blocked off street section with lines snaking every which way and people going against the grain saying "excuse me" every second was chaotic! LIGHTS/SIGNAGE/LOUNGING The street lights were the primary source of light for the event which made for a blah, dimly lit venue, the lounging areas that I saw were just tables and chairs at either side of the street, kinda like an afterthought. Some food vendors' signage was non existent or not very visible, again to a poorly lit venue. Better lighting is another necessity! MORE VENDORS Drop "Asian", rename it 702 or Las Vegas Night Market, and reach out to chefs, restaurants, food and non-food vendors, etc. After all, aren't we considered a culinary destination? There's seriously no shortage of food choices here. Maybe this way, it'll alleviate the long lines, offer more food choices, and lessen the possibilities of food vendors running out of food(Fukuburger ran out at 8:30pm)/drinks ,gives people the opportunity to browse, shop, and possibly come back for more food. AREN'T WE A CITY KNOWN FOR ARTS/ ENTERTAINMENT? There's also no shortage of singers, dancers, acrobats, magicians, comedians, cooking schools, martial arts schools, etc. in Vegas!? TAKE A PAGE FROM THE RICHMOND NIGHT MARKET Check out my review/pictures! Go on their website and check out all the YouTube videos....It's a well thought out night market...Scrap the VIP Package and offer an Express Zoom Pass to allow Zoom Pass Holders early entrance before General admission attendees. More people are guaranteed to purchase this for sure. Extend dates to possibly multiple weekends in a month instead of just one day each year? (Maybe mid-September through the month of October) Richmond Night Market was every weekend(Fri, Sat, Sun) from May 10 through October 14, from 7pm to 11pm and the place was packed start to finish! TAP INTO OUR LOCAL ARTISTS Maybe think of a theme, and make it more inviting! A little splash of color and maybe some cool installations to give the venue life! Color does wonders! Remember, these two stars are MY EXPERIENCE, so take it with a grain of salt, learn and evolve from it, and don't taze me, don't @ me, or message me with any form of negativity. Believe you me, I really want this thing to stick around, because our community could really use an event like this after working out the kinks. ALOHA!!! SHAKA METER: \uuu/ \uuu/ 2(with a huge margin for improvement)

I had to make sure to hustle out here in order to participate. Located right off of Rainbow Blvd across Blue Diamond Road. Lots of parking available at the time I arrived. Arriving early afternoon on Sunday I was assisted by a quiet woman. She was helpful and made the ordering process simple and easy. Inside seating is spacious and outside seating is abundant as well. Choices are many for the gyro wraps, pita wraps, bowls, plates, salads, and appetizers. I really enjoyed my gyro loaded with a ton of meat. Meat was tasty and the fries were seasoned well with a little kick. The gyro's are not small and I ended up sharing it. Thanks to YelpLV, Kayla, the staff and owners of The Greek Gyro for a nice lunch. I plan to return to try more dishes.

It was about 20 minutes away from Fremont street and I had arrived around 11:45 A.M. Upon arriving, the area was pretty busy. There wasn't many parking spots available since it was still brunch and so I parked in a empty parking spot in the next lot over and walked over to The Greek Gyro. I did notice that there was a drive thru as well! When I entered the Greek Gyro, I saw a few other Yelp community members like Chris V at The Greek Gyro as well! The restaurant is beautiful inside. There was plenty of tables available both inside and outside the restaurant. There was even a few booth seats available too! Since I was solo, I did end up eating at the booth which had a window to look outside the restaurant. The Greek Gyro offers a wide variety of options. You can choose from a Gyro Wrap, Pita Wrap, Bowl, Plates and more! Some of their meats include Chicken Gyro, Pork Gyro, Beef, and Lamb. If you're looking for other alternatives, there are salads and desserts too! For the Yelp Experience, I ended up selecting a Build your own Bowl. Bowl: Chicken Souvlaki (Kabob), Rice, Hummus, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Feta, and some lettuce. The bowl also included pita on the side. I also ordered a soft drink as well! The team member did inform me that the Chicken Souvlaki would take longer to cook, which was great information to know! I ended up reading on my phone while I was waiting. The team member did provide me with an order number that would be called once the order was ready. It didn't take too long for my order, around 15 minutes. I was hungry after the race and couldn't wait to try out the bowl! The bowl was missing the lettuce and tomatoes, but that was okay. The cucumbers were super fresh and tasted yummy! There was a lot of rice in the bowl and it was quite flavorful! My favorite part about the bowl was the Chicken Souvlaki. The chicken was juicy and tender! It blended well with the hummus, rice, feta cheese, and cucumbers. The pita bread was delicious too! There was seasonings on it. I had a lot of hummus in my bowl so I used the hummus with the pita bread. The service was fantastic here and the food is great. I'll be back if I'm in this area again! Thank you so much Kayla, Yelp, and the amazing team at The Greek Gyro for this experience!
