When we checked into our room on the evening of May 7th, our room did NOT have a functioning air-conditioner. It was not just that it wasn't cool enough - it literally did NOT turn on. The staff told us that they couldn't call a technician until the next day.
The room did not have operable windows, so we were sweating all night long. We had to cover ourselves in damp towels to try to stay cool.
The management staff were polite and feigned sympathy. But when requested, they refused to give us any credit for the pre-paid payments.
Question: If you ordered food at a restaurant that was spoiled and they tried to make you pay for it, what would you think? I was FURIOUS !!! read more
