I came into Purity Nails with my parents on a Saturday afternoon, and they treated us great! While…read morethey do offer walk-ins, I called ahead to schedule a same-day appointment to ensue all three of us could be taken care of at the same time. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and directed to select our polishes. They were able to immediately seat us in the pedicure chairs and have a staff member work on us right away. The staff was very friendly and attentive, checking in to make sure we got the manicures and pedicures we wanted. The pedicure was very typical to what you'd expect at any other nail salon, finished with hot towels wrapped around your shins. Tools they used were clean, and they had great attention to detail. I wasn't a fan of the massage chair, as it felt very weak and beeped every time I pressed a button. Wasn't awful, but I've experienced better. There's plenty of magazines to read and also a live television to watch while you are waiting (the local news was on when I was in). Purity Nails advertises their gift certificates, but those expire 6 months after purchase. If you end up getting one, I'd highly recommend paying very close attention to the expiration date! Their prices are great. They have three tiers of manicures and pedicures. At the lowest level, you can get a regular manicure for $12 and a spa pedicure for $22. I'm pretty sure there's a discount for the women's manicure and pedicure ($32 for the combo, but don't quote me on that). I only say that because a men's manicure and pedicure is $35, and the men's spa pedicure a la carte is $25 instead of $22 for women's. Good value, will return for nail services when I'm in town!

She was so sweet to open up and give me a 9:45 appointment. What a blessing she is! I used to recommend this business but will be finding a new nail salon. I got a regular mani-pedi. I had to ask that a toenail be fixed because there was polish left on the skin. Communication was difficult as the lady didn't appear to speak English well. She touched up the nail by painting the tip and the skin across the top and then tried to clean up the excess. It looked horrible. There are other nails that aren't covered completely and other places where I had to clean up polish when I got home. A manicure usually lasts me about a week, but I already have spots and chips after a day and a half. She just slapped the topcoat on. I also didn't appreciate them stacking up furniture and mopping the floor 30 minutes before closing time.
