Called and ordered two sandwiches and fries for pickup. When we came home we realized we were missing an item. I called back and they were able to deliver the item to us. It took almost an hour for delivery to come (we understand that it's a Saturday night). Overall, what we ordered was good, we would be interested in giving another shot and just double checking our pickup order next time. This second generation pizza shop on Bristol Road, was a surprising find last week. Housed in one of the old strip commercial buildings, it has the benefit of low rents to keep their prices very reasonable, as well as recipes handed down from parents to kids that have stood the test of time as being what people love to eat when thinking traditional Italian-American cuisine. The walls of the dining room are full of old family photos in black and white that add to the ambiance of this vintage pizza parlor. I settled into one of their three booths to await a single slice appetizer and 12" Mixed Sweet/Hot Sausage, Pepper & Onion Sammy. I could hear the kitchen folk chatting away and banging pans and oven doors as they prepared takeout orders along with mine. The regular slice (well done) arrived first. It was a little heavy with cheese and dripping oil, but the first bite was still crisp with nicely charred undercarriage and very good red sauce. It was better than it looked. The sausage P&O likewise didn't look like a work of art, but when the sauce was dripped on top, it came alive with great flavor, texture and interplay amongst the ingredients and torpedo roll. The sausage mix demonstrated it may have been locally produced, from the freshness of the chew and subtlety of the flavors. In any event, it was an exceptional; a best of breed for me this year. I hear the Sarappo family has another restaurant in Croydon, PA. It is now bookmarked for future exploration. read more

We have been faithful customers for a while now. Every single time we order, items are missing! You call them and tell them, and they act like they could care less or it's no big deal. I have only had their specialty pizza's which are actually pretty good. They come in a Sicilian square/Deep dish kind of style. The Buffalo Chicken has a nice balance of Chunks of Chicken, Buffalo sauce and a drizzle of Blue Cheese. The Veggie had a red sauce with Broccoli, spinach, tomatoes, garlic & mozzarella cheese. The Slices themselves are crispy, heavy as heck and thick with a bit of a buttery/greasy Deep dish style to it. This restaurant being one of the closest of the many pizza places in the area we would order here and there. I do not think there was one time they served an order correctly. Forget ordering online, they have a system that employees are unfamiliar with therefore customers suffer. I submitted an order stating my order has been received but not confirmed and to wait for a confirmation text with pickup time. After 10 minutes I called the restaurant, they said it would be ready in 15. I get there 20 minutes later still not ready. I finally get a text saying my order will be 59 minutes later. For an order of a steak stromboli, hoagie, and curly fries. The final straw was when I got home. I made the rookie mistake of ordering a hoagie from a pizza place. My state of thinking was this place can get busy, they placed this item on their $5 special menu, and it was lunch time. I opened up the hoagie to the smell of death! The meat was visibly gray and unless the cook was wearing a mask they had to of smelled the rotten meat. I am so put off by hoagie now I will not be ordering one anywhere for a long time. The smell lingered and stayed on my fingers. We tried time and time again with hopes of a better result but we will no longer eat at Sarappo's. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because their plain cheese pizzas can be descent. Crust and sauce is okay and they put a generous amount of cheese. read more

Although the pizza is probably the best around, the service is maybe one star. On more than one occasions we have waited 2.5 hours or more for food. Always the same excuse that they have changed ordering systems, and either never got our order, they didn't see it, or left something off. Not worth the aggravation of if or when you're going to get your order. read more

First year it was great! Decently priced, quality food & great customer service! Fast forward a little....quality went down significantly. Pizza is Border-line trash. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because they do very well for the community during any catastrophe. Will not recommend food nor return. Glad I came here on a whim before checking the yelp reviews bc I definitely might have skipped out on 25 cent zeppolis and $1 slices! #BOOM Ok, so the hubby and I were trying to get a quick bite before getting our drink on at happy hour, and this is the closest pizzeria to our new place. Inside was surprisingly spacious, it looked crammed from the small parking lot. The girl behind the counter was super friendly and when I didn't see a pepperoni slice, she said they could just put some on a cheese slice AND made sure I knew it was $1 cheese slices ...which was great so it didn't cut into my happy hour budget. They had a batch of zeppolis on display which I was super surprised about considering the only places I've seen have zeppolis are in north jersey and in the shore...but long and behold, here were these heavenly pillows of sugar. At 25 cents each we got an order of 6. The pizza came straight to our table, it was pretty good, I like my pizza with a bit more crust and crunchy but the sauce was great and lots of cheese. Zeppolis were perfect, because they weren't ridiculously large like the ones in the shore and not too much sugar where you don't even taste the dough. Overall I was very satisfied and look forward to having one of their fancy pies like pesto chicken or a cheese steak that smelled great. read more

Sarappo's recently launched an APP so ordering is really easy and all of your money goes to the restaurant not a third party! I was impressed that the shop limits two customers inside at a time. Two people were placing their orders inside and after taking their order the counter person told them they would deliver the food to their car. The staff were gloves and wore masks. They have a great 5.00 menu we ordered a chicken cheese steak, a steak cheese steak and a 5.00 pizza. It's very easy to add items to pizza or sandwiches and their costs if any are easy determine. I like to use the app prepay with a tip. I suggest calling when you arrive (remove caller block ID). I think they will bring it right out to your vehicle. The food was great! The rolls were awesome. Can I just say how nice it is to have respectful people answering the phone? Because any other pizza shop you call are miserable and rude mostly. Food is great! Highly recommended the deep dish. Food is made to order, they have a special $5 menu, and you can order on line. I highly recommend ordering on line. They have a stupid and annoying answer machine describing a fire in two towns over. Why listen to that? They will eventually pick up and take your order. Be patient. It is worth it. They have a made to order $5 pizza that is a 10. Their boneless wings are plentiful and they provide plenty of celery and blue cheese, with real chucks of cheese. They also have pizza by the slice and tables to sit. Ordered two fries and only received one. Sauce from the lasagna was spilled all in the inside of the bag and the rest of the food was covered in it. Everything I ordered in my wrap wasn't added and the onion, tomato, and lettuce wasn't removed. Not to mention it look over an hour to come and when I called I was hung up on. Love this place! My faves are the chicken caesar salad (dressing is delish), the many pizza choices, the onion rings (fat and flavorful), and the gourmet sauce for the wings. Their wings are also very good and I know this sounds weird, but they have good fries. Something about the seasoning. Delivery is fairly quick although sometimes the food arrives warm, not hot. I ordered a large sausage pizza last night I asked them to make it crispy. Im from New York so I know good pizza. The pizza was better than I expected. If I have one complaint its the mozzarella isnt as good as it could be all pizza places used processed mozzarella which cuts back on the grease. If they used the kind of mozzarella that strings out a 6 inches to a foot I would say this pizza is as good as any New York pizza.
