The SAS lounge that is now renovated is a huge step up from the previous lounge. The new lounge is airy, well appointed and you can easily find a seat. Power outlets all around and the food selection has been widely improved. The spread varies throughout the day and if you do frequent this lounge, the food can become quite boring as they seem to rotate the dishes without any variation for a long period of time. You have a wide array of drinks - alcoholic and non-alcoholic and food to set you for an hour or so in the lounge. The wi-fi works great and it's a great place to catch up on some work prior to a flight. This is mainly a review for the Gold Lounge, which you get access to as Star Alliance Gold. If you are flying SAS Plus or Business Class on one of the Star Alliance airlines, you'd get access to the Business Lounge which is on the other side. The only big difference is that the Gold lounge carries hard liquors and that the Business Lounge doesn't.
Great job with this lounge SAS, a big step in the right direction of the airlines comprehensive renewal programme. read more
