The manager suggested gel inserts to ease the plantar fasciitis type of pain instead of buying a new pair of sneakers. He said the soles and general condition of my sneakers was good. The $25 inserts are providing some relief. That was nice of them to show me an alternative instead of spending up to $80 in a new pair of sneakers. Next time I need a new pair of shoes I'll be back. It's good to have decent customer service which is hard to find these days.

I still use the ones from five years ago, but now I wanted ones that have a zipper on the side to make it easier to put on and off. I found the perfect pair. They're really actually very pretty too. They have the cool memory foam. Very comfortable on your feet. I also found a pair of slip-in sneakers. These are the kind that you can just slip right into without any laces or Velcro. What great innovation! This is my second pair of sketchers that are of this type. I have plantar fasciitis and I put in some inserts into the shoe for it added support and comfort. Excellent customer service! The woman helping went out of her way to make sure that I found shoes that work for me. She helped me try on many shoes until I found the right one. What great value! It turns out they have a LOT of very reputable shoe brands in their store with an emphasis on comfort and outdoorsy. For hiking they have Keens and Merrells, winter boots they stock Sorels and Pajar, summer time they have Birkenstocks stocked, Danskos to dance in, rock out with your Crocs out, kick it in Clarks....okay, I'll stop. But you you get the point. I've regularly owned most of the brands Jainlee carries and the shoes are always worth every penny I've spent. The shoes they carry are for people who want high quality, durability, comfort, good fit, and are also suited to the weather we find ourselves with in Western New York. There are also a boat load of sock types throughout (including toe socks for people who like those foot shoe things). Admittedly this particularly store's layout is a bit jumbled and doesn't have the best lighting, which I think is why I never stopped in previously. The sales persons have been pleasant, though you might have to wait a few minutes for help as I believe they only keep one or two people on staff at any given time and most often the shoes have to be specifically retrieved. I paid cash, and they didn't have $200 in the drawer so the owner Jainlee claimed she couldn't refund my purchase and that it's "not her problem there isn't enough money". I will never ever give this sad excuse of a store my money ever again.
