We had a quick dinner at 7pm on a Saturday. After we arrived, the restaurant started to fill up quickly. For us that was a good sign but unfortunately the food was not up to standard. By the way, The owner was very adamant and vocal about wearing masks in the restaurant.
We ordered two entrees (vietnamese spring roll and the fried one), the beef pho and the shrimp bo bun. The entrees were good apart from the accompanying sauce (it was not sufficiently sour and sweet to my taste). The broth of the beef pho was lacking taste and included a meager amount of fresh herbs (a few shriveled up stems of cilantro in fact). The rice vermicelli of the Bo Bun dish was too soft.
Another unfortunate thing is that the main dishes came separately. While my partner was half way his pho, I was still waiting on the Bo Bun.
Overall, we were very disappointed as the online reviews were great. read more
