Roughly five years ago, we moved to our current location, which is on the opposite side of the airport. It takes me longer to get to a gas station these days, should I need to. I like this location. If you have a rental car and are about to head off to the airport, I recommend filling up at this gas station. It's easier and convenient to fill up and head off than using the other station across the street. This station gets busy in the morning, as it is next to the airport valet parking lot. However, I never have an issue finding a pump to fill up my car. Gas prices are still on the high side these days, but it's not as outrageous as it was a month ago. Don't forget to use your Petro Rewards card to earn points towards various purchases, such as bottled water or a gas discount. (222)

Each location has an LCBO right across the street but I think the LCBO across the street (Lloyd Manor) is not as busy as the one at B Mall. I usually pay at the pump but I had to go inside to get my receipt because it didn't print at the pump for me this time. That sort of ticked me off because when I went inside there was a short line. I'd rather not have to go inside and get my receipt if it were to print at the pump as it should have. If you want to go west on Eglinton back towards the highways your best bet is to drive out the Lloyd Manor side and make a left at the lights.

That said, pumps are quickly activated and I can be on my way in short order at all times if I pay at the pumps. Four grades of fuel are available and diesel! Choosing to pay inside is relatively quick and staff here move customers along efficiently. You can pick up snacks, drinks, lottery tickets, or supplies for your vehicle like windshield washer fluids. Now, it's back on the road for this road warrior!

I was driving northbound on Kipling Avenue. Stopped at Rexdale Boulevard, I did a search for a gas station and got this Pioneer gas station. It was north of Rexdale. I needed to do a left turn. It's funny. I never noticed this gas station until today. I'd see the KFC just south of it. That's it. I'm normally on this street to visit Giant Tiger, Dollarama, or Dollar Tree, or all three! There was one other customer at this gas station when I arrived. The lighting was excellent and welcoming at 6 pm. This gas station is special in that there are gas pumps for regular vehicles. If you're a truck or larger, there are gas pumps around the corner from the convenience store. Nice! At the gas pump, I entered my phone number associated with my Journie points account. I then tapped my credit card and started to fuel. Easy peasy! You do need to prepay for gas here. If you need assistance, you can go into the convenience store and prepay. The only downside was that I was standing in a couple of puddles. Thank goodness my sneakers didn't have any cracks or holes in them! It was straightforward to fuel my car. I got a receipt and all was done. I didn't need anything from the convenience store. There was a man at the checkout area when I looked at the store as I fuelled. I learned that I have been passing by this gas station for years without acknowledging its existence. It was nice to finally stop by and check it out. (469)

Another benefit for Eastbound Queensway traffic, this station is on the north side BUT comes right before the heavy traffics kicks up as you approach Park Lawn. Never been inside the convenience store portion as I'm a pay at the pump kinda guy. Overall, not a bad spot, higher gas prices as it's the only one in the area.

3.5 stars... I think this place is actually excellent but the people coming here makes it so mind…read morenumblingly bad. This is one of the few Costcos in the GTA that has a gas station... it's a massive one. 16 pumps in total and they're the special hose that can streeeeeettttch so you dont have to line up to one side specifically. The other massive plus... you save at least 9 cents if not more compared to everywhere else. So why the 3.5 stars... the entry and exit is a nightmare. Because its so popular, it is not unusual to have the line up go out the gas station area, out the Costco Lot, go pass the road and spill onto the Queensway. This is not an exaggeration. It is a weekend reality. And if you're here for the long weekend, may you have a good coffee in hand cause you're going to be waiting for a long ... long ... long time. We're easily talking 25+ minutes. I recommend to head here when Costco store is NOT open. The gas station has earlier and later hours than the actual store. Not by much but at least 2 hours in the morning and an hour afterwards. You can probably get in and out within 10 minutes sometimes. This is considered a modern day miracle. Overall, I would say the pumps isnt confusing but so many people dont know their pins or take forever to read the screens or are completely confused that you need to slide in the Costco card first. Pay first inside, where friendly staff will ring you through and give you a unique code for the car wash. Watch as the aforementioned slappy spinny cloth strips dance around your windshield, sides, roof and back, leaving visible dirt between each strip. Drive to another car wash and pay again to get the job done. 1 star because the staff are nice and a portion of your car will actually get clean.
