My kids gave this place a 10 out of 10 for their pizza! We stopped in to give this place a try. They have a menu on the wall of pizza, salad and sandwich options. They do have a small indoor dining area and some tables outside to eat at. It was fun to see the wood fired pizza oven in action. My kids had a simple cheese pizza and loved it. I tried the meatball sub and had a side salad. Both were delicious with the sub being very large. A great choice if you want to try a good slice of pizza.

The pizza speaks for itself, but the service is also great. They have a food truck and also a location in Fairview Park. Just recently we ordered the Fig and Pig as part of Cleveland Pizza Week, which I had never had before. The pizza was delicious! You can taste the quality ingredients. Highly recommend this place. Support local!

We did an at home DIY kit and it could not have been better. The pizza was literally amazing! We absolutely loved it.

Yum, yum! This place had it going on! Popped in during Cleveland Pizza Week for their special pie...the chicken parmy. Brought the (work) boss along as well to see what he thought of the place. Cool vibe going on there, enjoyed the tunes and an open air kitchen meant being able to watch the magic happen behind the counter. The chicken parmy pie had a great wood-fired crust (with chew) and came out crispy on the bottom. The toppings truly tasted like a chicken parmesan sandwich with sauce, chopped-up fried chicken pieces, fresh tomatoes, shredded greens and shaved parmesan. It was the perfect size for sharing...except I didn't share and instead ate the whole thing by myself. My boss wanted a sandwich and ordered the Italian made with meats, veggies and dressing. When it arrived, he quickly realized that the same dough used to make their wonderful pizzas had been folded in half and turned into bread for his sandwich! Ingenious! He loved and and said it was one of his more memorable sandwich experiences. I've been back here since, and the second pie (the Godfather with pepperoni, salami, sausage, banana peppers and onions) was equally as good. This place is a keeper!

sauced food truck at Crocker park. It's the best pizza!

Saw the Sauced food truck @ crocker Park again today. What a pleasant surprise bc I just walked up there to get some cat food at traders. Anyway I told them how fortunate I am today bc it's my favorite pizza. Suppose they hear it all the time. Let me count the ways. It's the crust I think from that 900 degree wood oven. Lots of shops try to do this but it's what separates Sauced from the others. Crust has a doughy but well done texture. A yeasty quality if u will. It's the kind of bread I would eat if it was just artisan bread. Good size personal pepperoni pie for $8 as I recall. The pepperoni gets that well done almost fried consistency to it like Antonio's in Parma. The sauce & cheese are just right. Done in about a minute I think! It's an easy meal to eat from the food truck, the pizza supports itself, doesn't make a mess & I didn't burn my mouth. They had a purple Canada Dry that I haven't seen before. It's the little things. Sauced gets my 5 star recommendation. I eat there whenever i find them. Cool dudes & hot chicks to boot. PS: I've eaten at the shop too it's the same pie, the old pesto sandwich shop on lorain. Great great pizza. Nice job.

Got to experience this pizza from their food truck in Painesville. Very impressed that the individual pizzas were made fresh as ordered. Great toppings. Then placed in the wood burning oven. Pizza was crisp, obviously served hot, with great flavor. Only down side was they didn't have drinks. I will definitely look for this truck in the future or maybe even the restaurant itself if in the area.

The staff is so incredibly friendly, it's a classic Italian family restaurant. Overall really enjoyed the atmosphere and great food for the price, I'd recommend it for sure!

(They don't take reservations) I was hoping the vibe and atmosphere would be a little cozier and cute, but it kind of gave me hotel vibes. Our waiter was extremely attentive and polite. The arancini were pretty good, but I've had better. My gnocchi and my husbands spicy pasta were excellent! Great portion sizes too. The tiramisu was so good!!! The cream in it was so delicious and different from others I've had. I would definitely recommend this place and go back for a special occasion!

We also arrived, funny enough, on Pasta night, so most of their Pastas for the evening were discounted at $14 a plate. By the way, shouldn't every night be pasta night since this is an Italian restaurant? - LOL. Anyway, I didn't even know Pasta night was a feature at the restaurant so it came as a pleasant surprise. FOOD -- My friend and I shared two main pasta dishes, the Garganelli Diavolo with Shrimp AND the Short Rib Garganelli. Both cost $14 for Pasta night but they are normally $21 each. -- Short Rib Garganelli (special price of $14 for Pasta night but normally $21) - braised short rib, sautéed mushrooms, and scallion butter): hearty meal but dry. It needed salt as well. I still liked it after added salt and crushed pepper. The addition of the mushrooms allowed for an even more meaty texture. -- Garganelli Diavolo with Shrimp (special price of $14 on Pasta night): tasty and my favourite of the night. Dry with dried sauce. Addition of salt and crushed pepper made it taste better. Well cooked shrimp. Overall, the 2 Pasta dishes that my friend and I ordered were good and it came with complimentary bread (it came on the side along with the pasta dishes). I asked for olive oil to dip the bread in and a waiter brought it up right away. Both pasta dishes had dried up sauce so the meal wasn't saucy and it also needed some salt. I actually don't like my pasta dishes with too much sauce at all but a little sauce would have gone a long way. My friend and I added salt and crushed pepper to both pasta dishes which made them taste better. They were delicious already but they definitely needed salt. SERVICE -- Excellent (100%). Friendly and attentive service. I entered for a 5:30pm reservation, arrived around 5:36pm, and was sorted right away. My friend arrived about 3 mins after me. We were checked in about twice during the night and brought waters when we arrived. I'm glad that I finally tried Bar Italia and I'll certainly be back. I'm not truffle connoisseur, but decided to try something new. Based on our conversation with the chef who approached our table after dinner, he was dreaming of hosting this dinner forever. There was always something that came in the way until this decadent evening. I'll share my experience from the special dinner. AMBIENCE: Palazzo is like a gallery meets fine Italian restaurant. There are plenty sculptures including Michelangelo's David replica. Paintings of ballerinas reminding me of Degas. Walls of wine bottles, predominance of stone accents, and a small vase fountain transport you to Italy. Touches like backlights and wine bottle walls make the atmosphere romantic. The restaurant has multiple dining room spaces. There is also a wooden bar. There is also a covered patio. During our visit the restaurant was extremely crammed. The dinner was sold out. Tables were so close together that it was challenging to navigate between them. Guests had to move their tables to let someone pass through - other patrons or staff. I did not feel comfortable with these seating arrangements. The restaurant was very extremely loud. I couldn't sit comfortably without bumping my chair into other guests. I'm not sure how the dining layout looks like during regular days. Hopefully there is more room at the restaurant. The bathroom is in the basement, so not ADA accessible. The ceiling in the bathroom was awkwardly low. FOOD: Our dinner was 6 course experience for $125 (no tax, no gratuity, and no drinks included). First course (Antipasto) was Pera Sacchetti - Pasta Pillows, Pear, Formaggio,Truffle Cream Sauce, Fig Balsamic. Second course (Insalata) was Arugula - Black Truffle Oil & Shaved Parmesan. Third course (La Pasta) was Cheese Tortelloni & Sea Scallops - Shaved Fresh Truffle, Butter, Garlic. Fourth course was (Pesce Pan Seared Halibut) Black Truffle Cream Sauce & Roasted Rainbow Carrots. Fifth course (Mare e Monti) was Grilled Filet Mignon Medallion & Petite Butter Poached Lobster Tail Truffle Butter & Cauliflower Purée. Sixth course (Dolce) was Truffle Cream Filled Cannoli. Every course featured generous amount truffles and was very well crafted. I loved Mare e Monti, filet mignon and lobster were well prepared. While the courses were pretty petite, the dinner was filling. Considering the dinner menu, it was good value. Beyond the dinner, my friends really enjoyed wines. I ordered Prickly Pear mocktail ($10). It was okay, but not really flavorful. It was too ginger beer forward. It was pleasant to seem multiple mocktail options. SERVICE: It was wonderful that the chef personally greeted every table. I enjoyed learning about his story. It was a nice touch for him to speak with the guests. The rest of the service was average. The hostess was not very pleasant which set a bad first impression. Our waiter was fantastic but awkward. He kept taking away wine glasses and bringing back the same glasses. There was a lot of confusion with drink orders, and the wrong bill included the wine. Perhaps this was due to handling a large crowd. EVENTS: The restaurant is planning other upcoming events. For instance, Lenten dinner ($55) on Wednesday and Friday (February 18-April 2). PARKING: The restaurant has a very small parking lot with an incline. Arrive very early if you want to secure a spot. There is really no street parking nearby. You can park at the RTA bus station across the street. Parking experience is inconvenient. I'm conflicted on how to rate this restaurant. I enjoyed dinner, presentation, mood, and personal chef approach. I didn't like the table arrangements, service, and parking. If the service was warmer and less rushed, I would be all about this restaurant.
