Wow great pizza! We came in the winter so the outdoor area was closed, but I'm sure it's a great summer time spot to enjoy your pizza there. There are only a few tables inside so most people we saw coming took their pizza to go. I'd recommend calling ahead to place your order because it got busy! We really enjoyed our pizza though. My kids gave this place a 10 out of 10 for their pizza! We stopped in to give this place a try. They have a menu on the wall of pizza, salad and sandwich options. They do have a small indoor dining area and some tables outside to eat at. It was fun to see the wood fired pizza oven in action. My kids had a simple cheese pizza and loved it. Oh My!!! You gotta try to get to Sauced Wood Fired Pizza for one of their bagel pop-ups!! The bagel was excellent but I gotta tell you, I have never had a breakfast sandwich as good as "The Piggy". Alright, it is huge. Probably more than I should eat for breakfast. But, picture a homemade bagel (remember, I said they are excellent), topped with garlic herb cream cheese, egg, a hash brown, choice of American cheese or Cheddar, ham, bacon, and sausage (not your choice of one meat, you get all three). Sauced used to be one of our favorites. No longer. Their sandwiches used to be served on the most delicious focaccia bread. They were to die for! Now their sandwiches are served on pizza dough. It is not even close to their original sandwich. We are so disappointed. Even their website still shows the original sandwiches on focaccia. We loved their original sandwiches so much that we are angry about this change. Clearly they have decided to cut corners. We will no longer support their business. read more

I like their pizza a lot. The pizza is so good. It's probably my favorite on the west side. Definitely in my top 3, and I would put them up there with il Rione on W65th, although il Rione obviously has a lot of ambiance and feels more upscale and sophisticated. The dine-in experience hasn't been a thing since pandemic times began, but for a takeout place, they are fantastic. But you should absolutely eat it immediately out of the oven for the best experience. Don't wait until you drive home, eat it in the parking lot. Trust me. The price for what you get is a good value. The only thing that I can think to complain about is their hours. There are times when I want to order from them, but they're not open. But if their hours are what they need to be in order to keep the quality what it is, then I say never change. read more

Yum, yum! This place had it going on! Popped in during Cleveland Pizza Week for their special pie...the chicken parmy. Brought the (work) boss along as well to see what he thought of the place. Cool vibe going on there, enjoyed the tunes and an open air kitchen meant being able to watch the magic happen behind the counter. The chicken parmy pie had a great wood-fired crust (with chew) and came out crispy on the bottom. The toppings truly tasted like a chicken parmesan sandwich with sauce, chopped-up fried chicken pieces, fresh tomatoes, shredded greens and shaved parmesan. It was the perfect size for sharing...except I didn't share and instead ate the whole thing by myself. My boss wanted a sandwich and ordered the Italian made with meats, veggies and dressing. When it arrived, he quickly realized that the same dough used to make their wonderful pizzas had been folded in half and turned into bread for his sandwich! Ingenious! He loved and and said it was one of his more memorable sandwich experiences. I've been back here since, and the second pie (the Godfather with pepperoni, salami, sausage, banana peppers and onions) was equally as good. This place is a keeper! read more

Saw the Sauced food truck @ crocker Park again today. What a pleasant surprise bc I just walked up there to get some cat food at traders. Anyway I told them how fortunate I am today bc it's my favorite pizza. Suppose they hear it all the time. Let me count the ways. It's the crust I think from that 900 degree wood oven. Lots of shops try to do this but it's what separates Sauced from the others. Crust has a doughy but well done texture. A yeasty quality if u will. It's the kind of bread I would eat if it was just artisan bread. Good size personal pepperoni pie for $8 as I recall. The pepperoni gets that well done almost fried consistency to it like Antonio's in Parma. The sauce & cheese are just right. Done in about a minute I think! It's an easy meal to eat from the food truck, the pizza supports itself, doesn't make a mess & I didn't burn my mouth. They had a purple Canada Dry that I haven't seen before. It's the little things. Sauced gets my 5 star recommendation. I eat there whenever i find them. Cool dudes & hot chicks to boot. PS: I've eaten at the shop too it's the same pie, the old pesto sandwich shop on lorain. SOO GOOD! First trip to Sauced but it will definitely not be my last! We ordered two pizzas & they took about 15 minutes to make & cook. The menu looks pretty tasty, they have more than pizza like wings, sandwiches, salads & a number of appetizers. The pizzas tasted amazing! Ordered 1 10in pepperoni & prosciutto pizza & then 1 10in chicken, bacon, ranch & banana pepper pizza. You can add a "happy ending" to any pizza for free which consists of garlic oil & parmesan cheese on the crust (go for it!). The restaurant itself is set up very cool & stylish. There is about 7-10 tables inside. There is a big garage door that I imagine they open when the weather is nice with a few picnic tables outside. read more

Ordered a pizza using Door Dash. 5 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered, Door Dash cancelled our order...no drivers. I called Sauced to say I was coming to get it. They made me a totally new pizza so it would be hot and threw in cookies. Sauced pizza is so much better than any others. That crust is unbeatable!!!! We love it. Decided to take a little drive to get some coal fire pizza. Looking at the menu we decided to order wings and meatballs. Everything was fabulous! Fresh mozzarella on the pizza, fresh tomato sauce, crust was very good. The wings were slightly crispy not to over done, great taste in barbecue sauce, will have to try the bourbon sauce next time. Freshest ingredients, delicious sauce, clean and bright space and friendly consistent service are just a few of the ups for this place. The menu is just right. Starts off with several apps and salad choices GET THE PEPPERONI BREAD - best $6 app I've had in some time and would suffice for a medium sized meal for most. We got the house salad as part of a special one time and it was also generously sized and very fresh. Specialty pizza options are fantastic - a little something for everyone here (white pizzas, traditional styles, and some more trendy ones as well). Our favorite so far is the Godfather - lots of meat and veggie toppings. So SO good. The crust is impeccable - hits the perfect amount of chew and char. They also have some very unique dessert options. I don't even like dessert normally but the S'more pizza was one of the most delicious ones I've had. Definitely plan on sharing it with 2-3 others though as it's very good sized - especially since you just stuffed your face with a ton of delicious pizza! I stopped into Sauced tonight after wanting to visit for quite some time. When I arrived, I was the only one in the restaurant. I had looked at the menu online, but was hoping for a bit of a refresher of what toppings they had for a build your own pizza, but unless I missed it-- I didn't see posted clearly. I was kind of hoping for a super simple decision guide like similar woodfired pizza joints have. i.e. choose your size, then your sauce, then your cheese, then your toppings. Luckily, I knew generally what I wanted and went from there. I ordered a small pizza with pesto, mozzarella, bacon, sausage, and prosciutto. The pizza was made very quickly, which made it a great place to stop on a whim on my way home when I was craving pizza. Not an order ahead and wait scenario (although you can order by calling or on the website.) I took it home with me and noticed that the box was completely drenched and leaking out of the side and onto my car seat cushion. When I opened it up, I saw how oily the pizza was and how their was oil pooled in that corner. The pizza itself was great. The crust is the perfect thickness. Their pesto sauce is one of my favorites I've had on a pizza. The entire package was delicious. As far as taste goes, it is my favorite wood-fired pizza I've had. My only negatives for the experience was the difficulty navigating the menu as a first-timer-- not knowing my topping, sauce, and cheese choices. The oily, messy pizza wasn't ideal, but dripping through the box was a bigger disappointment. I'll definitely be back for their pizza when I'm in the area, but will probably order ahead online so I can see all of my options clearly. I'll also eat there or grab extra paper towels, etc. to prevent oily leakage in my car. read more

This place does look small and that it would get crowded easily. lt was super cool to get to watch the pizzas get made and put in the wood fire oven. I ordered the Clevelander and it was delicious! Everyone loved what they order from wings to pizza to salad. They do offer free water cups or you can pay for bottled products. Depending on how hungry you are a small 10in pizza could feed 1-2 people. I split mine with a friend and we still had one piece left over.
