Love love love this track longer hole so I can break out my driver pace can be ok sometimes on weekends it's a little slow but not bad. Great for value and great for someone transitioning to bigger courses. Only draw back is it can get wet in the winter. Don't really use the driving range or mini golf so can't comment on that. Always a fun experience here! They have a driving range, 18-hole golf course and $8 mini-golf. Lots of parking available. I also like the cafe where you can enjoy coffee or beer and a sandwich in their outdoor patio. They have plenty of outdoor seating so it's quite relaxing. I usually practice at the driving range and if you come often it's better to purchase the 10 visit pass where it averages to a bucket of 60 balls for $7.50. Evenings are quite busy so be prepared to wait for a spot at the driving range but so worth the wait!! read more

18 hole mini golf at sunset. Is perfect for small groups and a fun outing during the summer at sunset. $8pp is a steal. They provide putters and golf balls. Bring bug spray. The mosquitoes eat you alive adds a bit of a challenge to putt straight. read more

This golf course (along with its sister course, Country Meadows) is hands down the best value Par-3 / executive style course in the Vancouver area. Price is comparable with other Par-3s yet the level of upkeep is miles ahead, while having surprisingly nice scenery -- great view of downtown Burnaby, neighboring farmland, and the mountains! The layout is friendly for all skill levels from beginner to good golfers, yet holes feel appropriately spaced. It's rare to see someone playing from a different fairway. The driving range is reasonably priced with high quality mats and space heaters for the winter, however there isn't a great short game practice area. Only a couple of cons to keep in mind though you can work around them if you plan ahead: - Slow pace of play during the summer - Poor drainage. There's few trees and not many drainage pipes so it gets really muddy after rain. read more

Came on a Friday afternoon for mini golf. We paid 12$ for 2 people at the Reception. The receptionist didn't really instruct us on what to do but it's pretty self explanatory. The balls are on the table right next to reception. One ball per person. Grab a score sheet and a pencil as well. Just outside the doors there are golf clubs for you to choose. There are different heights and ones for left hand and right hand. In general it was pretty fun as there was nobody else there but us and the course is pretty well kept. My only complaint was that they were cutting the grass while we were playing and with the wind that can only mean a mess is coming your way. Other than that, would recommend to kill 2 hours of time. At the end you return your golf club to the used golf club area along with your balls so they can sanitize them. read more

Once again, after a long hiatus, I returned to try this range again. It's even worse now. Want to listen to non pga certified instructors "teach students" for hours on end? Then this is your place! No, not the great teachers that work for the range, these amateur hacks that shot close to par once and now are in there listening to their own voices for hours (literally hours) while giving swing advice at the top of their lungs. Does the range get kickbacks from them to turn their heads? Are they allowed to do this (there are literal signs that say otherwise)? Does management just not care? I don't know the answers, but damn does it suck if you don't have noise cancelling headphones. These are the worst people in golf, literally the worst. Just avoid, or go late night or early morning, especially if you have problems with people talking full volume and louder in your backswings. read more

I enjoy this golf range. It has the best prices in town , it seems maintained very well with good matts. The owner and staff are the friendliest in town too. The only down side is they don't have a open grass range area or decent chipping practise area. I recently played a round on their 13 hole golf course . Loved it ! It is generally par 4 holes so it is nice to bring the driver out quite often on an executive course . I love the fact you have a view of the mountains to the north . And it has some elevation challenges on some holes . read more

This course is well maintained and we often enjoy playing it. The driving range can get a little busy, but there are a lot of stalls and so you can usually manage to find a place to hit a few balls. The front counter staff are generally pleasant and polite. The marshals need to relax and let people play. There are many times when my group and I play a round here, we get approached by one of the marshals telling us to pick up the pace. We are by no means slow golfers, and should be allowed to take an appropriate amount of time to line up our shots without being rushed by staff, or pressured to drive into the group in front of us. While they're still within range of our tee-off shots. On our most recent outing, the Marshal claimed he was responding to complaints by the group behind us that we were going too slowly. He also made fun of one of my friend's shots in a way that came off more mean-spirited than witty. What he failed to realize was that if we went any faster, we would be driving into the group playing in front of us. I'd prefer not to hit someone with a golf ball. When we apologized to the group behind us, we were told that they too were being rushed, and had never complained about us in the first place! My group enjoys coming back here, and I like the range, but I always try to convince them to play other courses than this because of the attitude of the marshals. If they'd just chill out a bit this would be a great course. read more

This rating is based off of two of the times I've been here. Once for the driving range and another time for the mini meadows putting area. Driving range: Came on a Sunday around 9:15pm. We thought that the last call for tokens was 9:20pm so we rushed to get our balls first. However, after playing for a couple swings, we saw someone else get their balls still! So I'm not sure if last call is strict or not. The price was $6 for 60 balls. Which is actually quite a lot of balls for one person! The driving range had lots of rules and regulations posted in the front entrance and there was lots of signs that said "Quite please" which made me feel a little bit overly cautious just in case we would get in trouble for being too loud. (Even though we were super quiet). Around 9:50pm, another golfer beside us decided to spit on the floor. The staff working at the time was just beside him picking up empty ball baskets so he walked over to him and said "Did you just spit on the floor?" in a very rude tone. When the man apologized and said yes. The staff replied "Yeah, don't do that". I know it's wrong to spit on the floor, but I felt like the staff could have said it in a nicer way. We finished hitting all our balls around 10:09pm. The staff did not rush us at all which was very nice. He also waited for our ride to come before driving off, because I think he had to close the gate. Mini meadows: Came on a Monday around 4:00pm. You have to go inside to pay first and then come back out to play. It's $6 per person for a group of 2 or less and $5 per person for a group of 3 or more! Super good deal for 18 holes! The lady in the front showed us where to pick up our balls, where the score card was and also where to get our putters. The mini meadows is actually quite large! There's plenty of room for each individual hole and there are even mini ponds, small streams, bridges, and a waterfall/ fountain. It seems like mini golf without the extra decorations but you're using a real putter and each hole is quite long/ large! It took my group of 5 approx 2 entire hours to finish the whole thing! I'm sure if you're super good at golf it would be much faster. The grass is very well taken care of and there are even multiple mini garbage cans by basically each hole! I thought that was super convenient and minimized the chance of garbage being thrown on the floor! I truly enjoyed the mini meadows and I would definitely be back for it!! read more

"One of the best driving ranges in the GVRD" Savage Creek is my second favourite driving range in the Greater Vancouver area and let me tell you why. Facilities Quality and Amenities are all above average to excellent. 1. It's a newer, double decker range with many stalls. Each stall is fitted with nice mats and ball holders already set for right hitters and left hitters. 2. Effective ball distribution machines located in several areas. 3. Warm heat lamps for when the weather gets colder and we all know in Vancouver we get much more cold than warm. 4. Good lighting at night as well, and a good number of targets which allow you to gauge your distance and to play accuracy games. 5.They have a fair selection of snacks and drinks in their lounge area. 6. A good putting and chipping area. Now the cons which prevents it from being 5 stars: 1. Because it is such a good range, it is very busy, particularly in evenings everyday of the week. This can be annoying if you cant get a good spot, or if you're with two people, get spots side by side. 2. Bucket of balls price is fair for the quality you're getting, but it is not a deal. To reference a good deal in the range world - My other favourite driving range (Musqueam) has deals at Noon and from 6-8, where you get bonus balls and get 80 balls per bucket instead of the standard 50. Overall this is an excellent range to visit whether you are pro or just wanting to wack a few balls and relieve some stress. read more

I haven't been back here in awhile and now with the old/new ownership Harry has certainly done a good job here. $9 bucks will get you a great grilled sandwhich and bucket of balls with a soup or drink option during lunch. Can't beat that deal. The Driving range is good, but it's the food and the Starbucks coffee that attract me for my refound love of golf/driving range during lunch. The Sandwiches are very good. I've been going to this driving range for years and it's been one of the better ones. It's changed ownership but has pretty much stayed the same. Despite being perpetually busy from open to close, there are plenty of stalls so there's never a long wait if I can even recall ever having to. It's close by to the movie theatres so if you're ever having a date it makes for a great date. Food, driving range, movie anyone? read more

The golf course and greens are great. Tge scenery is beautiful. We weren't terribly impressed with the food and beer in the restaurant. There is no draft beer, menu is very limited and my friend ordered a hot dog today that was terrible. The expanded outside seating area is great so the am huge improvement to the restaurant would be much appreciated. read more

Awesome real grass outdoor mini golf for very reasonable prices. On a nice day this is a good afternoon with family or friends. Also a small area to sit before or after in the clubhouse but not a lot of food/ drink options. Not sure if the clubhouse is open during covid. read more

One of the best driving ranges I've been too and I've been to a lot of them. Despite two levels and a tonne of space, it gets crowded as others have mentioned. Still, it's close my and I take a quick bucket on my lunch break from time to time. They're currently doing a lot of construction work on the property AROUND the range - I think they're building a golf course or something but the back fence at the 250yd mark is all mounded with dirt - not a big deal but you hear the construction noise. The place also has two nice putting greens with signs that say no chipping...but everyone does anyway. Why not 5 stars? 1) no grass tees 2) no practice bunkers 3) some of the range mats are worn down and need replacing Price wise...I don't even know what they charge per token as I always buy their 50 token card - lasts me a while. read more

Perfect location before/after playing hockey at Rmd Ice Centre, same road. Like the dual decks, upstairs corners for some personal concentration time. Heat lamps work well too. Find the ground level are for the show-boaters, perfect for those who've got the perfect Woods-like swing. Good lounge seating at the front. Certified golf instructors, group lessons too w/ video action. About time they installed a ball dispenser machine upstairs a few years back. I like where this group is headed with the renovations, but my experience last week driving was just ok. Perhaps a bit subjective, but I don't respond to the area I am shooting out at. At 200 yards the range slopes up? Ok but feels compacted, and when I asked about some of the distances the targets were laid out at, I got a rather snarky remark from, I must admit, a very busy gal working the till. Also, maybe bad luck, but I ended up with a real chatty group - left and right of me. Good practice to block this stuff out, but it was more like an arcade vibe than working environment... For those that like the higher end after work-out experience, the restaurant/bar area looked quite polished up, but his isn't my focus. I will head back, as the renos look really interesting, and they seem to be expanding the pitching and putting area big time - good for them! read more

I practise at Savage Creek Driving Range regularly and enjoy the friendly staff and easy-going atmosphere. Occasionally there are talkative people nearby, but I can always go upstairs and enjoy virtual solitude. I also played the new 13 hole (under construction) golf course this morning and it was in great shape - was able to just 'walk on'. Great going guys! read more

this place is good. Like the previous reviewers said: it is cheaper compared to Musqueam Golf course and the place is nicely furnished and lots of stalls. Only complain is that it gets pretty crowded at times and there are quite a bit of noise from the aircrafts and highway. Other driving ranges tend to be quieter. read more

Been there so many times, it's a good place to hangout with friend to shoot some golf balls, if you go to driving ranch often, I recommend buying the card that gives you 20 or 25 baskets(60 balls each basket). It's worth it and you'll save some money. read more

I haven't been here for a couple of years and it will be a while before I come back again. The mats are really worn out with groves and divots in them so that you can't get a level lie. There are only a couple of new mats here and there. Despite the quiet signs, there are always people there loudly chatting on their cell phones rather than hitting balls. The property looks like a junk yard with loud truck and heavy equipment operating all the time. If you are looking for a quiet place to concentrate on improving your swing, this is not it. read more
