Just a word of caution. Inquire whether the warranty being offered with the appliance you are purchasing is a factory warranty. If not, what is the exact warranty. I would suggest getting it in writing. We purchased a Thermadore refrigerator only to learn is was one year parts and labor. We had a cooling problem outside the one year warranty which lead to a $1300 repair. The unit is now four years old and has a sealed system problem. The quoted repair is $2000 of which $1500 is labor. A call the Thermadore led to an offer of 20% off on parts for a total of $100! We are no longer purchasing Thermadore appliances. The good: I got 4 Bosch appliances here: dishwasher, stove/range, fridge, and microwave drawer. The prices were cheaper here than they are at other stores that sell the same appliance. The worker who showed me around was friendly and informative. I learned from him that Z-line appliances are currently being recalled. I was thankful for that information because that was the brand I was about to go with. The bad: I wanted to get an insert hood here as well but there weren't any to view and there wasn't much of a selection. The ones they had were pricey. The interior is a bit tight and narrow in some areas and disorganized in others. They do not deliver any appliances but they do have someone you can hire and pay to deliver your stuff. I just hired my own separate person (Black Bear Delivery Services). They had enough of a selection for what I was looking for but it isn't a huge selection. The interesting: They have a very cute and friendly Frenchie there who roams around freely. He doesn't mind getting petted and he will greet you at the front door. read more

I'm so disappointed with this company. I bought a Bosch dishwasher and pull out microwave and worked with Ray jr. Who was kind and promised me that even tho the dishwasher is out of the box it is brand new. This is the motto of their business. Selling brand new appliances out of the box saves consumers money. I trusted him and purchased the appliances and picked them up this week for installation. The dishwasher i received was completely banged up and clearly not brand new. It was a floor sample. I contacted the company and no one ever answers the call. I finally got a hold of Ray Sr. Who was completely unapologetic and told me that he doesn't want customers like me and was yelling at me for complaining to him about the dishwasher I received. Customer service doesn't apply here. He completely lost my respect and I'll be taking my business else where. This industry is all by referrals and word of mouth, I was looking to get brand new stove and refrigerator from them as well but after my experience I will not. I'll pay more money to go somewhere else. my suggestion is go anywhere else. If you do come here don't expect customer service and don't work with Ray sr. RAY AT SAVE MORE IS THE BEST! The customer service we received was above and beyond! We were looking for a new fridge and boy did they have a LOT to choose from. Stay away from this business. I purchased thousands of dollars of appliances from both of their locations, and was told the pieces I chose would be stored in a warehouse until I was ready to take delivery. When delivered all but one appliance was dinged or scratched on the front, clearly not the pieces I chose. I declined receipt of the appliances I was told 'Well these are what you chose". I said "why would I get appliances that are scratched?" They agreed to refund me. I got one check, minus taxes and 2200$ + taxes for refrigerator. I asked for refund of frig, it was sent, minus taxes. This cost me money: new appliances from Home Depot, I paid and tipped the delivery driver (a few hundred dollars total), and still have not received my refund for the taxes they owe. This will go to small claims and BBB. They are not communicating with me, I have left several messages and texts at this point. read more

Customer service is not going well. Trying desperately to reach the management team in order to exchange a brand new( purchased at Home Depot for 1800 bucks) , " incorrectly sized washer dryer from Samsung with the stacking unit kit. I offered to exchange it with a GE economized laundry center($1000 on their website) they have them in stock and I live locally seems like it should be a fairly simple transaction. Getting a hold of these guys was extremely difficult. I am honestly not sure how they function and stay in business, I received a call shortly after Posting this review from Ray. We were not able to agree to a swap as he wanted an additional $275 and would not provide any delivery. I called the delivery man he wanted $150 to deliver both ways, I called back Ray and offered to split the delivery fee since he would be receiving one of the appliances he started yelling at me so I told him to (profanity off!!! ) He was not very flexible. I am no longer interested in purchasing from him. I really wanted to do business with this local firm and I really need the washer dryer laundry unit. If management is reading this please and wants to salvage part of this transaction; I'm still selling my 27 inch Samsung washer and dryer with stackable kit brand new in box. If you want a good price for quality merchandise go there! Is it perfect maybe not, yes there is a lot of merchandise with that said, Ray knows exactly where to find anything you may need. Does one need to be patient? Yes, they are busy. I recommend going on off times, I went there last Friday right at 10 am and someone was there already. Have a good idea of what you are looking for. Do your homework that will save you. Go other places to ask your questions. That will help you be patient and not get frustrated. I have shopped there for different jobs and I appreciate them. This place is terrible. I was strung along for about 2 months by, who I think is the owner - Ron, Roy... something similar. Due to the height of our counters, we needed an ADA compliant dishwasher and all of the major stores (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) said it would take 30 days to get it. He kept telling me he was about to get my dishwasher "in the next few days", constantly stringing me along. The problem was that if I gave up and went to HD or Lowes, I still had to wait another 30 days, so I kept hanging on. He ultimately never got it and when I called him out on stringing me along he said he was very sorry and asked if he could give me another model, that didn't work great for our situation, but it did work, and said he would give it to me for free. It was apparently something that he couldn't sell otherwise, but would at least fit our space. I told him I appreciated it, really didn't want to accept his offer, but might have to and would get back to him within a few days. I stopped by his shop a few days later, out of options and without a dishwasher for 2 months and said I would take him up on his offer but would pay him $100, because I didn't feel right taking it for free. He then blew me away by saying "Well, my cost on it is $3XX and I need to at least cover my cost". That didn't sit too well after claiming he would just give it to me. So much for trying to be nice and give him $100... He then got really rude with me and acted like I was wasting his time. Bottom line, stay away from this place. False promises, unethical and rude. Went to this business on a Saturday to shop for a stove and spoke with owner Ray. He didn't have what I wanted in stock but said he could get it and would call Monday to check availability. Well, he never called back so I called him a couple of times over the next two days and nobody answered and Ray never bothered to return my call. After reading the reviews on line, I now see the writing on the wall: If this is the way they deal with you from the start, I'll take my business to another merchant who, if they can't answer the phone, at least has the courtesy of returning a customer's phone call. HORRIBLE customer service. If you ever need them to call you back, or if you need a repair, you are screwed. I have called 3 times, left voicemails, and even gone into the store to talk to the owner, Ray. Each time I have spoken to Ray, he apologizes and says he will call me the next day to schedule a time to come repair the dryer I just purchased from him. I have never received one phone call. If I could give 0 stars I would. Save yourself the headache and go to a different store. The $20-$100 you will save here is not worth the headache I have endured. After purchasing my dryer, ray helped me put it into my car to take home. Right when I got home, I noticed the turning dial/knob was broken. 4 lights on the dryer do not work and the dial/knob is pushed into the machine. I called twice Ray, left a voicemail twice, and never received a call back. Called again a third time and this time Ray answered. He apologized and said they were busy due to moving locations. He said he would send someone out over the weekend and call me beforehand. I never received a call. Fed up, I went into the store and spoke to Ray in person. He once again apologized, took my name and number (again) on his notepad, and said he would send someone out the next day. He even said "i thought one of our repair guys went already, I'll send someone out even if I have to come out to do the repair myself". The next day arrived, still no call. My dryer is still not as it should be, and it has now been a month since I purchased it. Pricing is fairly cheap but the customer service couldn't be worse. I am hesitant about writing this review but after several failed attempts to reach the owner I feel it is time for a review. 3/28 I called inquiring about the Speed Queen washer and dryer. Ray the owner was very informative and answered all my questions. I asked if he had the items in stock and he confirmed he did. We went in later that day to purchase the washer and dryer and worked with another associate. Ray at the time was busy and this associate was also very nice and helpful. Before purchasing i once again confirmed that they had both the washer AND dryer in stock. I had spoken to a couple of other businesses that speed Queen recommended and they both indicated that dryers were low on stock which is why I asked twice at Save More if they had the dryers. The associate went in and asked Ray who confirmed he did indeed have the dryer. So we purchased the washer AND dryer and I asked how long they would hold the appliances since I needed to arrange for a company to pick up the items. 3/29 I called and spoke to Ray and mentioned I had purchased the speed Queen washer and dryer and what was the latest a delivery company could pick up the two items. Ray stated they closed at 7pm and could come as late as 7. 4/1 the Delivery service went in to pick up the appliances and was informed the dryer was not there. They immediately called me and told me that the dryer was expected to come in on the following Wednesday (4/10). I called Save More myself that evening to inquire about what happened and left a voicemail to please return my call. 4/2 I waited until early afternoon and did not receive a call back. I called once again leaving another voicemail asking if someone could please return my call. 4/3 I still had not received a return call and decided to drive to the store and arrive at opening. As I was pulling into the parking lot Ray (the owner) returned my call. Please note that was after 3 voicemails were left. I spoke with Ray and explained the situation and asked if he had any updates as to when the dryers would be expected. I also explained that although I was in desperate need for both the washer and dryer I would be out of town the week of 4/4-4/11 and therefore could wait until that Wednesday i just wanted reassurance that one of the dryers would be tagged for my purchase. I noted that I had asked multiple times if they had the dryer in stock before purchasing. Ray did offer a refund at the time and although I should have listened to my gut and taken it I also didn't want to go through the hassle of visiting another store especially since I would be out of town for the week and figured it could wait to be delivered once I was back. I did ask for an update. 4/8 (the day after dryers should have been delivered) I called and left a voicemail for Ray inquiring about the status of the dryer and to please call me back. I stated I wanted to arrange for delivery. I was very clear in my message and repeated my number twice 4/10 still had not received a call back so I called again asking if someone could please call me back. 4/11 call once again went to voicemail and I explained I was reaching out to them to check on the status since I had not heard back from Ray. 4/12 now my patience is running out. I explained in yet another voicemail that I don't want to feel like I am bothering them or harassing them but I have not received a returned called and wanted to know if they had any updates. As with each call and left voicemail I asked them to please call my at their earliest convenience. IRONY - the owner's voicemail message states our calls are important to him. I really do want to resolve this with everyone being happy. At the end of the day I need my washer and dryer and Ray promised (more than once) they had the items which is why I purchased from them. I also want to point out that I have since called other recommended stores by speed Queen and each one has said - dryers are on back order. So... why isn't Ray just being honest if this is the case for him too. read more

The worst customer service ever! You will not get a call back from this store. I have called numerous time and left voicemails, and have even gone into the store at least four times. I have only spoken to Ray, the owner. He has never once apologized for not returning my calls. The last time I spoke to him, he yelled, " I cannot sell you a product that I don't have". What annoyed me more than the disrespect I got from him was that he initially made it seem that he will be getting the appliances very soon. I was actually referred here by a friend who shopped here when he purchased his new home. It didn't have a Yelp page so I decided to make one for them after I actually shopped with them. Save More Major Appliances is basically an open box and floor model appliance shop that also carries brand new appliances as well. The appliances circulates through virtually every few days to a week, based on how many customers or contractors come through. They get new shipments weekly since they are constantly selling appliances so if you like something, purchase it. They can even hold them there untill you are ready for your appliances. They do offer delivery services but I think the prices vary based on distance from their store. Save More Major Appliances is a Father/Son ran shop and i'm glad I came across their store so much that I am now sharing it to the Yelp! community. Happy shopping! read more
