If you can squirm your way past the "charities" such as the "fun police" and any other scammer that lurks around JAX brewery preying on unsuspecting tourists, hit up Save NOLA. As mentioned by Eileen, they have clothing and gifts that represent the real charitable organizations of New Orleans. There have not been many times where I have walked in this store and not walked out with something. This is a great place to go if you're looking for a cool NOLA t-shirt to take home or gifts to send out to those who have the NOLA spirit in another city. Their prices are reasonable and you'll look like much less of a douche wearing one of these instead of that "I got Bourbon faced on $#*% street" T-shirt you got from one of the other merchants of the Quarter. read more
