However what they put us on was the regular Armish farm fun $22 per person for 1 hour. The difference is the combo one includes gardening and barrel train ride. But anyway, we realized it as the tour ended after one hour. We didn't bring it up since my children actually wanted to leave because of the hot summer heat. I will recommend the $22 basic tour. It was packed with action and after one hour, my kids had enough of the farm ( we also visited the miniature horse farm next door before this) and long for AC. The tour started with a hayride around the farm, about 8 min ride. Then we went indoor at the animal barns to cuddle: chicken, ducklings, bunnies, kittens, piglets , feed Cheetos to pigs and watch them go down the slides, bottle feed the cows, milk a cow and collect eggs ( pick one up and put in a basket). It was fulled of actions. Strongly recommended this $22 basic farm tour. While you are waiting for your tour, you can kill time by playing at the playground ( under full sun) or go indoor to the corn box for free.

This was my family's second time coming back here. My kids were just 3 years old the first time…read morethey came here and loved it. I took them back recently, as they're about to turn 6 years old, and this was the perfect age. There are a variety of experiences you can do here. We did the standard farm tour that includes a 5 minute wagon ride, where kids can drive! And then you go to the farm. On this last trip, there was a little confusion on the tour portion. I think they didn't realize our whole group was waiting. I ended up going up and found someone who managed to find one of the Amish women to give us a tour. On the tour, you'll see baby animals, feed the horses, bottle feed a calf, see baby chicks, and pigs. Then at the end, you can reach under chickens and pull out eggs from the nest. My kids could have stayed here all day. They also have a playground on site, tricycles, and a little shop where you can buy dairy products. Definitely worth a stop here!

This spot is kids paradise. I planned most of our day here and my kids still didn't want to leave…read more I typically saw this spot whenever I rode the Strasburg Railroad. We typically would do their Christmas Train, and rarely got back to Lancaster in the warmer months. As soon as I planned my latest summer trip, I knew it had to be on the itinerary. This place has it all from gigantic slides to gold mining sluice areas to a mini kids village that mine couldn't get enough of from the mini vet office to the drive in theater. It was really impressive. From here, you can make your way up the hill where there is a restaurant, a coffee kiosk with a delicious coconut water cold brew (wild!), and plenty of shaded sections with swinging chairs. You'll find paintball, basketball, skee ball, a pedal cart for the family, launching devices. I mean, there is a lot! The place is large so it never felt overly crowded. Come with water bottles. Even with the shaded sections it gets hot. They have water fountains by the bathrooms.

Such a fun farm to take your family. I've been coming here…read moresince my daughter was about 4 years old- she's 14 now. Everyone we come, it does not disappoint. It's such a great time. Buy tickets online- tickets are cheaper. If you go during the week- it's cheaper too! They also have 50% off for active military and veterans, which is a great deal! They have all kinds of games, tug of war ropes, a play area/little town for younger kids, pig races. Some nights they have fireworks or bands. If you come- the corn maze is a must! All types of food vendors like burgers, fries, chicken fingers, ice cream and apple cider donuts. You can spend hours here and not get bored. They also have for pit and picnic table areas you can rent out and they provide logs and sticks so you can roast marshmallows or hotdogs. Definitely recommend this farm.

A Family Tradition That Has Become Nothing More Than a Money Grab…read more We have been going to Grim's Orchard for well over 15 years to pick our own apples. It has been a family tradition that we looked forward to every year. Their prices have always been on the high side, but this year they have gone completely out of control. A 1/4-peck plastic bag is $11.99, and apparently EVERYONE over the age of 3 is required to purchase a bag. I have a family of five, all over the age of 3, which means it would have cost us nearly $60 just to pick apples. And what do you get for that $11.99? A tiny plastic bag that holds roughly 7 apples. At that point, you are paying an absurd amount of money for the privilege of picking a handful of apples. To make matters worse, the customer experience was incredibly disappointing. There was apparently a tractor and trailer ride, but the employee who sold us our tickets never mentioned it. We didn't see it and had no idea where or when it was happening, so we missed it. There wasn't even adequate signage explaining where to go or what was included. The only reason we knew where to go at all was because we've been coming here for so many years and already knew the layout. What used to feel like a fun, family-oriented fall tradition now feels like a calculated money grab. There is a big difference between charging a fair price for an experience and nickel-and-diming families at every opportunity. After more than 15 years of coming to Grim's, it genuinely saddens me to say this, but we will not be coming back. They have taken something that was once a special family tradition and turned it into an overpriced, frustrating experience. Very disappointing. Sad to see what has happened to a place that used to be part of our family tradition.
