Every time we've driven past this place - there were cars, which is a pretty good sign that it's a great place. Finally - our schedules and the moons aligned and we were able to stop in - my wife, grandson and I! There is plenty of parking in the back lot - it's all FREE - the selection of food is AMAZING here - as are the pricing. But what impressed me the most was THE FLAVOR - MMMMMM MMMMM GOOD! Now - to top it off - our server was simply wonderful - she even "high-fived" my grandson when he finished his entire plate and asked for a cookie! She made our visit fantastic and we look forward to going back! I must also say - we arrived within 30 minutes of closing and no one rushed us at all. Since I can only get decent food down by me, Savory's is literally the closest godsend AMAZING restaurant that's closest to the highway that I can drive to for delicious breakfast/brunch food. So amazing in fact that I had to try and recreate their salted caramel bacon waffle breakfast at home this morning for my lovely Valentines husband and kids. Now if only I lived closer, I would've taken them to Savory's because I can only cook one thing at a time--but if you can get yourself here, you can try all the other AMAZING things they've got cooking that day, like maybe some lemon poppyseed pancakes, chorizo breakfast bowl with avocado and salsa--ummn you name it! Savorys has delicious food & Terrible service. We called in an order for lunch. My coworker waited on hold for several minutes. When someone finally answered they took the order (5 orders she asked to be separated) he said it would be about 20 minutes. So we go to pick lunch up & we wait there at the bar for 5 full minutes (being ignored by several other servers) when a server comes up and says "why are you standing here"- it was a very confusing exchange. She goes in the back & tells the kitchen that we're here waiting for food. Then someone else comes out and very rudely tells us we need to make sure we separate the orders when we call. Which we did. I was also charged for extra blue cheese and it was never given to me. To top it all off- our food was cold. If it's too much of a hassle to take to go orders, perhaps they should stop offering that service. Regardless, we won't be returning. read more

Probably the best breakfast I have ever had! Don't live in the Hamburg area and was out that way and stopped in for breakfast and was fantastic. Order Chorizo southwest scramble and added spinach. Was amazing, cooked perfectly, and this place allows you to get cornbread as a side instead of toast, which was delicious. Wow!! This is a must to place to go to for breakfast or brunch. When we got there we had to wait because they were so busy, but I am glad we did. They do get people in and quickly. SUMMARY - Cold food, messed up omelet, slow service, and an attitude problem. We were staying at a hotel right down the street on 8/11 and came here because of all the good reviews. We would never recommend this place to anyone. We came in at the start of a rush of people. We were on the way to the airport and had to get finished quickly. Placed our order as soon as we could, before a lot of the other tables around us had ordered. Whew! At least our food order was in first, right? NOPE. I watched as the table next to us got their food. Then another couple who came in 5 minutes after we did. Then a large group that ordered after we did. I finally had to ask the owner and tell her we had limited time. She went in the kitchen and came out two minutes later with our food. One plate was hot, the other was COLD. Toast on both plates - COLD. My wife could not eat cold eggs and bacon, so she had a few bites of my omelet, which was not made with the ingredients I requested. There was no point in complaining since i was hungry and had to eat. My wife told the owner she could not eat cold food, at which point the owner grabbed the plate, walked behind the counter and tossed it - and moments later brought us a corrected check with the eggs scratched off. She said with an ATTITUDE "I took off the eggs". So if you like cold food, incorrect orders, owners with attitudes, and all the people who came in after you getting served first, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! read more

Be advised when you visit and plan to use a credit card, there is a minimum purchase amount required. I forget the amount as it was a couple weeks ago that I visited but ask ahead of time as this could be an awkward situation. I got a chorizo wrap and it was quite tasty but the fries it came with werent many. Still a decent value for your buck as the prices were fair and as for a diner it is what you may expect and it will get the job done! My waitress was very friendly and allowed me to slide on the usual credit card rule as I had no cash on hand and she made just enough trips to my booth for it to be necessary which I appreciate. Breakfast was good. At the recommendation of many Yelper's, I just had to try this place. I love places with variety and Savory's has, not just a full regular menu, but a whole chalkboard of specials. We waited in the dining area for a table- not very long, but I feel so bad when you have to wait right on top of people enjoying their own food and you are in the way of waitresses. Our waitress was extremely pleasant. I ordered a Springtime Benny (twist on Eggs Benedict) and hash browns- it was good. My hubby liked his chocolate chip pancakes. Coffee and tea were average selections. Most fruits and veggies are sourced locally- gotta love the Southtowns! This place is a hidden gem. I had driven by for a year or two, wondering how it was still open. Little did I know- this place has THE best breakfast in the southtowns. So many different options daily on the two big chalkboards. Lots of seasonal and fun favourites. I want to try the all-you-can-eat soup option that's going on now. But my boyfriend and I only make it there for breakfast. We've been there a few times now, most recently just last Saturday. Service can be slow at times as it is usually very busy. Boyfriend loves the coffee options. Cinnamon swirl french toast is excellent- reminds me of Country Breads 'n More (if anyone remembers that place). Thick slices of very tasty cinnamon bread, I could eat this stuff all day. Bacon (even when asking for extra crispy) is usually on the less-done side. So if that's a deal-breaker for you, skip it. Omelets are very filling. Love the different options. Hash browns & home fries are great sides. I ordered a red velvet waffle once but won't again- it wasn't enough for a larger appetite. read more

This place is so cozy and quaint. Although it's a little small and you usually have to wait for a table, they turn over quickly and you are not waiting too long (unless you have a party over 6). We brought friends from out-of-town here for breakfast and they were overwhelmed by all the daily specials that were in addition to the regular menu. However, they were each able to find something they wanted. The server was friendly, although quite busy, she did take the time to answer all our questions and had no problem with substitutions/changes. Our meals did take a little time to arrive, but understandably because of the crowd. But they were hot and everyone was happy with what they had gotten. Whenever I am here I am never unhappy with my food, everything I have gotten so far tastes fresh, delicious, and has me dreaming about it for the rest of the day! Their potato pancakes were great, as well as the corned beef hash, veggie omelette, and veggie burger, muffins, etc etc. I could rave about this place forever! Be sure to get here early, people love it so much that around 10 am it gets packed and you may have to wait for a seat, but the place is so cozy you really won't mind waiting. The tables are often full and you seat yourself so you may be sitting a dirty table until they can come over to clean it. Or wait until they clean it, but then you may lose your table. The table turnover is quick, so I never waited more than 15 minutes for a table during a peak time. There is also a counter if you are popping in alone. In season, they use produce from their own garden out back. The service is quick, the food excellent, the servers are happy and the specials are fun and different. Most recently came for lunch and went with the Rachel on homemade rye, with what seems like homemade 1,000 island dressing. Real carved turkey - not the typically deli turkey. This place is as consistent as gravity. Far beyond your typical diner, they have a garden in the back of the restaurant, their specials are extensive and their food is really really good. I feel like this is the type of place I would drive by and NEVER try, it's unassuming when you drive by. I'm not a diner person by any means, so this is a place I would pass on if I didn't know the food was really good!! I've had their fish on Friday nights...super good! We decided to stop by on our way to Ohio, since it's right off the 90 on Camp Rd. Walking in, there were no servers in sight, so we sort of stood around awkwardly until one of the patrons, presumably a regular, told us to just have a seat. The waitress came by and took our orders for drinks... coffee, obviously. She was nice, but I did just get the sense of feeling out of place here. Not being a regular definitely showed. I never get that impression at other diner eateries (Sophia's, Nick's, etc) but here I did. The food was good -- I ordered the special chorizo benedict on corn bread. The corn bread was sort of dry and the whole thing was a goopy mess. It tasted good, but the presentation left a bit to be desired (yes, I know this is a diner). The bill was cheap (a plus!) but I've just been to better diners for breakfast, and since this place is out of the way, I'm not sure I'd ever willingly make the trek out for just Savory's. read more

The food was good but the service was very slow and the restrooms need more attension. I had a Belgium waffle and it was light and sweet but not sugary sweet. My husband enjoyed his meal. It was a busy day, the holidays, and the parking lot was packed. They were not prepared for the volume. I can understand that but if the food is going to come out slow the wait staff really needs to be on top of coffee and drink refills. The bus boy was the only one keeping up and not only did he he get the tables turned over he even picked up a coffee pot to help. The restrooms were clean but could be cleaner. There was some long term build up of grime and scuff marks. It really would not take much to make that restroom shine. All in all not a bad experience but it also did not wow me. read more
