The result was a jacket so distorted that it was unwearable. I took the jacket to another tailor, who is highly reputable, for recovery of this poor work and who said, "It's the worst tailoring job I have ever seen...the tailor who has tried to repair your jacket has actually destroyed it." I spoke to the Mr Marquez on the phone, but he was "too busy" to have a conversation. I wrote to him, but he did not respond. I returned to the shop and spoke to him where he denied any damage had been done, stated emphatically that the jacket was wearable and said, "It's just a jacket, nobody has died." He finally admitted he had not done the work himself, nor had he seen the final work as he had delegated this to an assistant. Is this a quality and professional service? We called up in advance and booked an appointment. When we arrived we were buzzed in and welcomed as we sat down. He explained how everything would work and started to look at the suit garments which we had bought with us. He took m boyfriends full measurements and we were in there for about an hour. One week later, we collected the suit and it fitted perfectly. My boyfriend was very happy with the results and would highly recommend the tailors services should you need an item altering.

The typography used for the signage was enough to send me into raptures. It is a "proper" tailor, offering made to measure clothing. They also stock a range of high quality men's clothing. There's nothing casual about their range - think tweeds, cravats and heritage shades of green and brown. It isn't cheap, but I can't think of another shop like this in central Birmingham. I find that tailorong services are few and far between so I was really chuffed to find this place, the staff were really pleasant, they're well set up and also do dry cleaning, well worth remembering.
