She did not turn her nose down at us for our more *modest* floral budget (I had no idea how much flowers were going to cost!). And she helped us find ways to reduce the cost and make our wedding something beautiful that we could afford. We had two consultation appointments with her in her Webster Groves studio. When you walk into her shop, you can smell the fragrance of all of her fresh flowers. On our first visit, we were mainly discussing ideas and trying to price out our contract. She has tubs of silk florals so that you can visualize what she is seeing when she is discussing all kinds of flowers you've never heard of. She also uses her laptop as a tool and even sometimes brought out some of her fresh flowers to show us. She has a lot of vases and things to rent to help create your vision and she seems to respect all different styles and tastes. On our second consultation, closer to the date of our wedding, we finalized our plans. I even changed up a few of our ideas for the bouquets, and Melinda was very helpful. When it came to the wedding day, we were worry free! Melinda herself was at the church helping to pin all of the men's flowers on and get the bouquets/corsages to the ladies. When we arrived at our reception, everything was perfectly in place! We also had Les Bouquets add flowers to our cake. Every detail was exact! At the end of the night, Melinda's husband and business partner came to help clean up and collect the vases we had rented. He was great and even brought out floral paper to wrap the centerpieces in so our guests could take some home! My bouquet lasted beautifully for weeks, and now I've dried it hoping to find something cool to do with it. When I got back all of our wedding photos, I have to say that the flowers were my favorite part. They are so vivid and bright--they are exactly what we wanted, and I could not be happier with our choice of going with Les Bouquets!

The flowers were delivered but they missed the second arrangement for the podium. My dad was already upset considering the event so I tried to call the florist to inquire. It was a Sunday and the shop was closed. We had to display a different arrangement that was sent by family friends but it didn't match what we ordered. In general, the flowers arrangements were pretty but the quality of flowers were just ok and they weren't as full as expected. We also noticed some were already brown on the edges at the wake-day of delivery. I feel like they didn't use the freshest flowers. The arrangement on the tripod was much smaller than displayed in the photo book and had lots of welted flowers. We also paid $215 for that arrangement and it wasn't nearly as full as the picture in the book they showed us. Overall, disappointed. I did reach out on Monday and the shop employee was apologetic and issued a partial refund to my dad for the missing arrangement. Not happy that we had to reach out, instead of the shop, to inquire about our missing flower order. Not sure if adding to the order caused confusion. Wasn't given any type of reason but also didn't care by that point.

I ordered funeral flowers in person I wanted some red roses…read morein it and some babies breath I told them I wanted it to look really nice as it was for my daughter-in-laws father I gave them a budget of $100 dollars. The roses were all clumped together and they did add a few other flowers and put in a brown wicker oblong basket that look like it had been used before. I was beyond disappointed. My 7 year old grandson could have done better. We drove from St. Charles to Warrenton so I could personally talk to them. The thing is we know a lot of people in that area and probably would have used them again but I can assure that won't happen and I would never recommend them The funeral home is the one who recommended them and I will also let the funeral home know about this

I will say they were VERY pricey- $320+ for what is pictured. I understand they got the best local blooms from Urban Buds and kept them in good condition leading up to pickup day, so they are a little more expensive. They photographed beautifully and surprisingly bounced back once I replenished them with water, after a long, hot day with no water! I was so incredibly disappointed by my wedding bouquet and I hate that it's in my wedding photos. I…read moremet with Jan twice to make decisions about the flowers for my wedding and it seemed like she knew what she was doing and was very confident about her experience and quality of flowers. I asked for a large round bouquet, of which I showed her many pictures of examples, and my bouquet turned out to be the same size as my bridesmaid's...small. I don't know if she couldn't read her own handwritting or what because she uses a paper form to write down what is needed, and after a few changes it got incredibly hard to read, but I had the wrong flowers in my bouquet. I felt very frustrated and hopeless after meeting with her and discussing how flowers that I previously thought I'd be able to get in Sept. weren't going to be available afterall and had to choose a whole new bouquet. Not only was my bouquet very small and the wrong white flowers, the pink garden roses of which I paid so much for were browning when I got them. The arrangement itself looked thrown together with the colors not evenly blended throughout...a chunk of this kind of flower here, chunk of this kind of flower there. She sent an apology bouquet to my house after my mother-in-law told her how terrible the flowers were and the arrangement sent to my house were also browning and wilting, not quite as bad as my wedding bouquet though.

Score 1,000,000 for my little sister! And for Southern Floral Shop!! The greenery was abundant and of so many textures and dimensions. Red carnations and red roses. Frosted pine cones. Plaid ribbon rimmed in gold. And two beautiful candles in the middle -- at different heights. Whoever composed this amazing beauty should get an award. Plus great directions on keeping the arrangement healthy with wonderful watering directions, including having some element of holding the excess water, so it doesn't leak.
