They did a horrible job on my gel manicure. After paying 118$ for a gel manicure and pedicure, I notice my gel manicure is peeling off my nails after a day visit to this salon . Never coming back and I'll get another salon to correct their horrible job ! Not recommending this place to anyone! This is by far the worst salon I had been too ! My manicure technician was named John Johnny and he sucks . Got cut several times by him very sloppy job nail polish outside nail bed on my fingers. Pedicure is very cute though done by another lady technician. Update; it's about a week later and one of my acrylic nails already fell off ! What a rip off ! This salon is by far the worst I been too . Now I have to pay another salon to fix my nails . Good thing I know a great salon in LA ! read more

After two other attempts to get mani/pedis at other salons, we hit the jackpot with Savvy. Not only were they able to accommodate us as walk ins, they exceeded our expectations on service! They aren't the cheapest but you get your money's worth! I can honestly say I've never had better. The time and attention to detail with every step was better than I've even had in expensive resorts. THANK YOU SAVVY for a wonderful relaxing experience. I will definitely return next time I'm in town. P.S. it's been more than two weeks and my toes still look great! read more

Disappointing that this huge space usually has 2 or 3 techs working..twice I've been told sorry no open slots in an almost empty salon! This place is fabulous! Jenny and I go wayyy back. she remodeled her salon and wow it's beautiful and amazing, it can be super busy it's always best to set up an appointment with one of the nail techs then just walking in although they'll make time for you if you do walk in highly recommend no doubt you won't be disappointed they're always making you laugh and it's just a really nice place to be! read more

Quality of product is low. I went here for a last minute pedi and full set manicure. They are very nice people but the quality of their products is not good. I broke one nail the next day, went back and got it fixed. Then 2 days later, 2 more nails broke. I get my nails done frequently and never had this issue of that many nails breaking. I decided to take off all of the nails and I took off 8 acrylic nails and 2 broken nails in less than 10 minutes of driving home with no pain, they just came off easily. That should tell you enough about the products they use. The prices are high too. I paid $110 for this service and was not pleased in the end. My pedicure is cute though read more

Their base prices are higher than most. So if you don't succumb to the pressure to get a higher package, expect nothing! Based on reviews from people who "go way back" It seems like maybe you get better service if you've been coming here for 10 years and they feel like you're their friend. They seemed to have a lot of long time customers who maybe don't know any better but this was the most expensive yet worst mani/pedi I've had in decades. They didn't even cut my cuticles. When I mentioned it he told me I "got basic" like that's acceptable even in a basic mani/pedi. The polish was so diluted with something to make it last longer that it stayed rubbery. Overall it lasted 20 minutes from start to finish for a manicure and pedicure. That should tell you a lot. You've been warned! read more

First timer to Palm Springs as a whole. Decided to stop in for a mani pedi while my companion was at a nearby casino. Called at 12:40 to see how busy it was. I arrived at 1:15. Waited 10-15, no problem. The pros: Staff greeted me as soon as I walked in and were welcoming and friendly! Prices are good. $40 for a mani/pedi combo. I chose to upgrade my pedi to the one that included a massage. With that combo and my eyebrow wax, my total was $71. My eyebrow wax looks AMAZING. I rarely get my brows done because taking off 1-2 wrong hairs can mess mine up for weeks lol. Glad i took the chance here! The place is super clean. Drawers are clearly labeled with what's clean, new, disposable, etc. massage chair has plenty of options for customization as well. Pedicure looks good! The cons: My manicure was terrible. He forgot to nip the cuticles of my left hand entirely. When I asked him to please do so (and pointed out the worst, which is on my thumb) he used clippers and clipped off more ends of my thumb nail. I asked again, even specifically pointed to said unsightly cuticle and said "see all this skin? Please trim it." He giggled, and then filed my thumb nail. Sigh. I gave up after that. He messed up my polish twice and had to remove and redo it. Left behind cotton ball fibers... The other nails don't look much better... although he took his time, it still looks like a rush job. I used my card (the brow lady who processed the payments went, "you don't have cash?" Ummm... no i don't lol). I really hope the brow lady grabs a couple dollars if the tip I left. She deserves it! read more

I called and made sure they would be able to see me even though it was one hour before their posted closing time. When I get there some walk-in had taken my "appointment" and they basically said I was SOL. Would not recommend horrible way to conduct service. read more

I've gotten my nails done in here twice. The first time was amazing. My friend and I called and they got us in right away. Coco did my acrylics and did a great job taking time to be precise. I was really impressed. She was also very friendly and personable. We also got pedicures which were just ok. (Side note: There's a cheaper pedicure price in their brochure than the one they give you in the chair. You have to ask for the basic pedicure unless you want all the extras.) The second time, my friends and I (total of 3 of us) called ahead for a day-of appointment and were told to come in at 1. They were very busy with only about 4-5 nail techs. We waited for 25 minutes before getting in a chair, which wasn't even as long a wait as those that opted to walk-in. My very pregnant friend wanted a pedicure and gel mani. She got her pedicure but they forgot about her mani even though she was asked from the nail techs and she told them multiple times. She decided to not get her manicure. My other friend just got a gel mani with a marble accent nail (design done by Coco). The lady doing my nails gave me one color book to look at. When I asked her about other colors she told me that I could only choose one color from the book. After shaping, one of my pinky nails was a little crooked so I asked if she could fix it. She proceeded to file very slowly with exaggerated movements (i.e. gliding the entire file across my nail and then flicking it out at the end). When she put the polish on, it looked like I had a week's worth of grow-out because it wasn't near my cuticle. I asked her if she could possibly get closer so there wasn't a gap. She said she couldn't because the polish would get all over my cuticles and they'd look better when she put the cuticle oil on them. Overall, my nails came out good, except for the grown-out look even though I got them done 3 days ago. If I go back, I'll only go to Coco. She did great and really cared about her craftsmanship and client satisfaction. read more

First time customer, decided to try it because of the higher than average Yelp reviews. Not happy with how my gel manicure turned out here. I think the nail technician spent more time watching the TV instead of working on my nails. That being said, I noticed the polish looked a little cakey and old when she took it out at the table, but after a couple coats it seemed ok. Yes, just ok. She clipped a cuticle too close and my finger bled. The nail curing machine was VERY hot and I had to pull my hands out several times because I thought my nails were burning. The girl didn't like that I had to do that, she was very annoyed and every time stated "First time that ever happen". Yes, first time for me too...It was really painful. The arm "massage" that usually comes standard with a full manicure was a couple quick squirts of cheap lotion. Which she then didn't fully finish massaging into my arms, so she wiped the excess off. Ok.... I paid my $ and left. On my walk to the car I inspected the work in the daylight and it was fairly bad. I started to notice big issues that just shouldn't happen when you pay for a good manicure. The polish didn't cover my nails completely, the sides are bare (see photo) and the polish has an uneven look to it, the way older polish does, thick in some spots and sheer in others (see photo). Left hand looks better than the right. What a mess. Embarrassing. All in all, up close it just looks raggedy. It will have to be done again soon at a better salon. It's upsetting that they think this is ok to send a client out the door with. I will not be back and recommend finding a salon with a 5 stars that cares about your experience and attention to detail. Overpriced at $30 for a basic mani and $40 for a pedi. They don't push or clip your Cuticles at all and the paint job is sloppy. Everyone in there is nice and they are one of the few places open after 5pm. That said would probably recommend skipping read more

Needed to get my nails done here cause the hotel we were staying at didn't have nail services at their spa that weekend. Turned out this place was great, very clean and lots of nail colors to choose from, that goes for gel colors too! I had mani and pedi hydration treatments with gel polish, hubby had the same treatments without nail polish of course. Both of us enjoyed being pampered for an hour or so, my glittering gel polish looked very pretty and playful, perfect for hot weather in Palm Springs, great job! I highly recommend come here whenever you are in town, the services are great, the prices are fair. read more

Since my coworker and I are here for work, we decided to treat ourselves To pedicures. This place was close by with 4 yelp stars, so we took a chance...a bad one! People who like their nails from here don't have a clue what good looks like. My pedicure was terrible. It was much more expensive than what you'll find in any less expensive salon in the LA County area. My manicurist did a terrible job cutting my cuticles. She was rough and left skin cut around some of my toes. I asked her not to clip my toenails. She filed them so heavy, they ended up short anyway. She even started filing against my skin. I picked a china glaze brand polish because it is usually thicker. It must've been an old, near-empty bottle. My manicurist put some kind of liquid drops into the bottle which made the polish very thin and streaky on my nails. When I asked about another color, I realized she spoke no English! Other nice male manicurists translated. Then the rude lady at the front desk came over with a few similar color nail polishes. She didn't know my Asian coworker could understand her her language while she proceeded to tell my manicurist that I was a problem customer. Luckily, my coworker didn't tell me until we left because I would've cursed her out and got up and left in the middle of my pedicure! I never knew asking for a bottle of polish that isn't empty makes a PAYING customer a problem. What do they know? All of their customers' nails are ugly and sloppy anyhow. The old snobby customers can keep their bad service and horrible nail jobs. Maybe if they leave this small town at times, they'd realize how badly their nails look! Lol read more

Their prices for manicure+pedi was $50, which is very high. It would be worth it if the finished service was great! It is NOT. They'll finish a manicure in less than 15 mins. Attention to detail is non-existent. They work very fast & ignore details. I feel like it's getting the job done as fast as possible, rake in the money & move on to the next customer. It's a shame. People are friendly enough but always speak amongst themselves in Vietnamense. I would not come here again. read more

We exchanged a few pleasantries but it was clear she wasn't interested in chatting further, which was fine. I needed to have gel polish removed and she used the drill. I've always known some nail techs and customers don't care for the drill, thinking that it takes off too much of the nail itself, but my personal experience with it has been wonderful. I've always had techs that were very cautious about only removing the polish. Sadly, my luck ran out at this salon. The tech was so aggressive that I actually had to pull my hand away a few times because of the heat. There were 2 fingernails, in particular, that I was afraid she had sanded so long that the nail itself would be paper thin. (I have really thick nails, so this usually isn't a concern.) The rest of the mani/pedi went well and I was pleased with the physical appearance of my nails. But my shellac started chipping off of those 2 fingernails after about 5-6 days. This is highly unusual for me. I can usually go at least 3-4 weeks with no chips. I decided to visit another salon to have the shellac soaked off to be safe. Sure enough, those two fingernails really were as paper thin as I suspected and I'm sure that's why my mani didn't last. My nail beds will grow out and recover, but it was a disappointing experience.

My friend's pedicure was listed at $60, mine was listed for $50 but adding gel polish was an additional $20 just for polish. I added gel polish to my hand and toes as well and ended up paying $60 total just for gel polish alone. There were no prices posted. I saw $50 plus $20 gel on a receipt. We were never informed of these additional charges beforehand. Had I known, I honestly would have declined or gone elsewhere. On top of that, the technician forgot to apply a top coat on one of my friend's toes, which shows a lack of attention to detail -- especially considering the high cost. Overall, the biggest issue for me was the lack of communication and transparency about pricing, combined with service that did not match the premium price point. Customers should be clearly informed of add-on costs before services begin.

Upon walking in the vibe was weird, it was not as big and clean as the Yelp pictures made it look. We established in the beginning that I had gel on my nails and they don't do gel, so the woman told me my toes looked fine, or "not so bad", then We were taken to the back for our massages...well let's just say I almost turned and walked out, but didn't want to ruin the experience for my friend. Instead of changing sheets between clients they just pull paper over the table like at the doctors office...well of course I took my phone flash light and lifted the paper, Only to find all kinds of little hairs that did not belong to me. I blew the table off, sprayed sanitizer, and sucked it up. The massage wasn't bad, but hard to relax when you're actively making sure not to touch anything but the paper on the table. My friends pedicure was the worst she's ever gotten, I think it took her 10 minutes. On a positive, when she flipped me over she did give me a wonderful sinus massage! That helped me relax. Maybe go for reflexology if you're in town, but I wouldn't be getting naked there lol!
