Savvy Sealers showed up at the appointed time. Mark (the owner) and his crew reviewed the job and happily answered my few calls. They were both professional and courteous. They cleaned up any grass and weeds in the asphalt. The filled the cracks with an amalgam with a very fine sand and sealer. The cut in the edges with a roller and a squeegee. Then the sprayed the sealer. The spray was evenly applied. For this kind of job, the preparation is paramount. They did a superior Jon from start to finish. The whole process, starting the surveying, getting a quote, and reviewing and completing the job was easy, well-comminuted, and completing job, was a pleasure. They are not the cheapest option, but I am sure my money is well-spent. read more

Use caution when considering this company. I selected this company based on its strong online ratings and reviews. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect those expectations. After the original installation, I raised concerns regarding the quality of the workmanship. The owner, Mark, indicated that he wanted to resolve the issues and offered to apply an additional topcoat to the driveway for an added cost. Based on those representations, I gave the company an opportunity to address the concerns. Despite investing nearly $17,000 in this project, the driveway remains unsatisfactory in my opinion. The surface appears patchy, contains depressions where water collects, and portions of the material began deteriorating almost immediately after installation. These issues have required me to seek evaluation and repairs from another contractor. I was initially assured that the company would stand behind its work and was asked not to engage another contractor while the matter was being addressed. However, my subsequent attempts to obtain a response and resolution have gone unanswered. Due to the condition of the driveway and the lack of resolution, I am currently pursuing legal remedies and have retained legal counsel regarding this matter. Consistent with my attorney's advice, I may provide additional documentation relevant to my experience, including photographs, video footage of the installation process, and records of conversations that occurred during the project, so that others may make their own informed decisions. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions regarding the workmanship, responsiveness, and overall handling of this project. I like to do most things myself, but there are some things (such as repaving a driveway) for which I need to hire professionals. As a single mom, I rely on reviews to help me make the best decision. I hired Savvy Sealers in Dec 2021 to repave my driveway. Note: according to the Savvy Sealers website, they're accredited by the BBB. But, according to the BBB, they are not accredited (they're not even listed on the BBB website). I didn't realize that until today, when I went to write a review. Ok, after they completed my driveway, it looked good. Until the first rain a couple weeks later when the water pooled and showed a depression in my driveway. I contacted them (and provided photos) hoping they could fix it but I never received a response back. The rest of the driveway looked fine. Fast forward to this spring, and I noticed an area near the end of the driveway (in the middle) where alligator cracking had started. I contacted them again to ask them to look at it. After hearing from them why they think the asphalt is failing in that area, I asked some other companies to take a look. Each of the other companies informed me that it appears there is insufficient base under the apron of my driveway, and the solution is to cut the entire apron off, add more base, compact, and repave. I have decided to hire a different company to make these repairs. I was waiting to post a review as it takes time to see if new asphalt holds up. I wish it had as this is going to be a costly repair. We used Savvy Sealers to seal a very old and neglected driveway as well as regrading and topping a very long stretch of gravel road. The seal prep was outstanding - the attention to detail was impressive. What really above and beyond my expectation was the regrade of the driveway and the asphalt millings. The driveway is unrecognizable. You have to get out of the car and touch it to realize it's not actually a paved road. We had been adding gravel loads here and there by hand with a shovel, and have hired other companies to add gravel when our backs just gave out with all the work. Almost immediately after a rain, the gravel would start to shift and move and our driveway was again rutted with pot holes. The millings are deep and well compacted. They are holding up to rain and heavy traffic. We are very pleased. read more
