I see someone different each time I've been but each one of them has been fantastic. The massage starts with a lovely foot spa, the rooms are spotless and warm (or cool when it's summer). And you are offered tea when you finish. I have only had the traditional thai massage here, but with reflexology on the menu I might have to try that next. This is the only massage that keeps me feeling painless for more than a few days.

Following a recommendation from a colleague, a friend and I headed along to Sangs Thai Massage on Darling Street for an hour long massage. Told we could have 60 minutes for $60, filling those 60 minutes how we liked, we decided to fill our time slot with 30 minutes of back, neck & shoulder and 30 minutes of reflexology. When we walked through the jangling door of the shop, the staff abruptly ceased their conversation, staring blankly at us as we returned their blank looks, feeling as though we'd somehow ended up in the wrong place & were rudely interrupting. After a humorously long silence, we made our request, only to be interrupted midway through our sentence by the lady at the counter handing us their list of prices. Stuttering a little from the interruption, we asked again for what was recommended, despite it not being on the list. This was followed by extended conversation (in Thai) between four different staff members, during which my friend and I stood awkwardly at the door. After what seemed an extremely lengthy time, we received the nod and were both ushered into the same room and were told to strip down to the loose pants they handed us. From here on in, things got better. The massage was strong, performed by a mass of elbows and knees, my strong masseuse kneeling and walking over my back, legs and arms like a cat pawing at a couch. Whilst we ended up with full body massages as opposed to the back neck and shoulder we'd requested, the massage was firm and satisfying. Moved out to the front of the shop for the reflexology part of the massage, our feet were rubbed with tiger balm as we sipped on our tea and watched Deal or No Deal over the chattering of our masseuses. If you don't have a tv at home you can catch the news and get a massage at once at Sangs Thai. If this isn't a draw card for you, then the massage in itself is worth going for. They also do hot stone massage, acupuncture and sports massage.

When the rock was simlply being dragged across my back that I did not request, I asked to end the massage as it was not good at all and in fact making me tense. Especially when she squeezed my neck rather than massaged it. I would have been massaged for 15 mins tops and they had the audacity after explaining my disappointment to want to then charge me $62!!! We settled on $42 but I should have simply walked out and refused. I will be reporting this business to the Australian Association of Massage Therapist and recommend you use a reputable local business like Healthspace or Endota spa.

Unfortunately on Friday, I had a different masseuse. She asked me 3 times if I had been in there before. She stimulated my testosterone and I couldn't control myself. She then told me if I wanted a hand job, which costed an extra $50. I told her I have only $100 total, and $69 was already for the hours massage. She asked if I had a card to include in the payment, I said no. I then said to her " don't worry, next time ... " Five minutes later she she walked out of the room and spoke to another girl. She came back in and we settled an agreement with $100 total. I was excited ! Another girl came in, and started to give me a hand job. There was no enthusiasm in her service. I tried to self excite myself with her monotonous hand strokes. It hen asked her if I could touch her breasts. She replied " you have to pay extra, $50 for a hand job because I have to pay commission to the other girl (the masseuse) ". She was clearly unhappy and didn't want to give me a handjob. In the end I thought about something that made me explode. She wiped me a little and washed her hands and walked off. I won't ever be coming back here. There should never have been an agreement if she was unhappy about it in the first place. I could have gotten a happy ending at another place where it costs only $15 extra, and the service would be a happy and polite one. I don't need this kind of attitude. $50 is too expensive for a hand job. I am now looking for a place to get my weekly massages.

The staff at this establishment were extremely polite and professional. The facilities are a little…read morelacking but the service more than makes up for it. The price was reasonable. I had never had a professional massage before but decided to give it a try after I strained my shoulder whilst training. I got a fantastic massage from Natalie who rubbed away my stiffness and soreness. Now, my shoulder wasn't magically repaired but it did feel a lot better. I was able to move it more freely with less pain. I had no idea what a professional massage was like but after this experience I have been back many times. I would recommend this place to anyone who has a sports injury or just wants some relaxation.

At brothels you get 30 minutes of full service for $75 from Uni students. the venue is dirty and there is no privacy or hygeine. If you only seek a massage then this is not the place because they don't know how to massage. I only found out when I went there for a normal therapeutic massage and was told that they only offered sexual services at the above costs. Who would pay so much for nothing? Management pretends that they don't know anything about what happens inside the massage room and if asked, they claim that it is a massage service.
