As Qype User said (in German), there are all manner of dark and shadowy characters lurking about. However, the police were very quick to respond to the attempted stabbing while I was there. Paramedics were also quickly on scene. The laundromat itself gets 3 stars, but the neighborhood gets -2. I'll be generous and give it an overall 2 star rating.

There is parking out front but it's limited and metered. Be sure to bring lots of coins with you since that is how you have to pay and there is NO change machine. It's pretty expensive but when you have to do laundry you have to do laundry.
