Horrible food. Chicken cutlet old and hard. No flavor in sauce. Not to mention open semolina flour next to the bathroom on the floor. Food storage never to a restroom is wild

This business lacks the responsibility of making the customer first. The motto is staff first customer last. Second. I've had repeated problems with service at this property. One night I walked in. I was told the kitchen was closed but I'm welcome to have a beer. Next I notice is the server went to the end of the kitchen, picked up two menus and brought it over to two young ladies sitting by the window where you come in. She gave them menus. I took pictures to support my statement. How can the kitchen be closed if you're handing out menus? I tip very well and I take care of my servers. Apparently they don't appreciate it.

Their focaccia, what can I tell you stupendo!!

Honestly, I am a Scalia fan. I have been coming here for years and the food never disappoints. The people are very nice. There are always menu changes with some staple Italian plates. Very homemade taste. The butcher is right next door, which is the same owner with Italian cuts and favorites. Ambiance is nice, good fine wine. SIMI is in the tap so imagine how good their drinks are!!

I've been coming here for years and always had a good meal and great service. Their meatballs are my absolute favorite!!! Today I stopped in for lunch and the service was just off today. Food of course was on point. Prices also increased since I last was here which is understandable because of our economy. You do get a lot for what you pay for though, so it is worth it in my opinion. They gave warm focaccia bread when we sat down. Usually I'm not a fan of it but today it was actually pretty good!

Single handedly the best red sauce I've ever had. I ordered the "Gravy". It's a classic Sunday Sauce with sausage, veal, meatballs and ricotta. My mind was blown! Antipasto was perfect, shrimp cocktail was perfect, bread was perfect, cannoli was perfect. Service was outstanding, super attentive. Ambiance was classy and cool. 5 stars!

Another visit - another good time at Scalia! Drinks are on point, they make a delicious Elderflower martini, they even freeze a fresh flower inside a ball of ice. My husband ordered a baked shrimp dish, he said is was "good". The bolognese sauce isn't as great as others I have had but they have gluten free pasta so that's a huge plus for me! Service is great, it's a small place and there's always someone to grab nearby if you need anything.

We started off nicely -- and were seated at a booth near the kitchen. The waitstaff seemed pleasant and experienced. We ordered drinks and they brought out a warm focaccia like bread with olive oil - Mg husband said this was pretty good. Then, we ordered a caprese appetizer -- I thought the tomato & olive mixture was quite tasty. However, I had ordered a steak salad - which was soaked in balsamic and the steak had no flavor. My husband's margherita pizza was okay -- maybe a bit more basil or a tastier sauce would have helped. The menu online had more options than what we were provided at the table, but I appreciated the call-outs that indicated what was gluten-free. It did make ordering much easier.

The food here is good. The drinks are spectacular. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was due to the dessert being meh

Opened up my sandwhich and it was very thick with meat and cheese. It looked great, smelled great, started eating it and then started tasting something moldy. Not sure if it was the onions, the peppers or both. Scraped off all the veggies and tried to continue eating my sandwhich but it unfortunately was tainted to where I could not eat it. Hubby's roast beef was dry - shockingly. Went to eat my Napoleon later in the evening - same thing - tasted bad - tasted like mold - could not eat it. Was pretty disappointed. Such a shame.

They have freshly made and frozen lasagna, baked ziti, ravioli, pasta whole trays for a reasonable price. All you have to do is heat it up! Or boil if it's ravioli. The Chicken Marsala was tasty and paired nicely with a side of mash potatoes and red wine. The fried Calamari was a little burnt tasting though. It's not something I usually order since I normally like to try specials or different pasta dishes, but it was the perfect choice. We started with the fried calamari, and it was easily one of my favorite appetizers. If you're like me and love the tentacle pieces, you'll be happy because there were plenty! It was fried perfectly, and the marinara sauce had just the right amount of spice to give it an extra kick. To finish the meal, I ordered the tiramisu, and it was the perfect ending. It was moist, rich, and soaked just enough to give it that classic tiramisu flavor without being overpowering. Between the delicious food, the extensive menu, and the overall experience, Cosimo's is definitely a place I'll be coming back to. There are still so many dishes I want to try!
