Q provided a comprehensive SMP that was tedious but a meticulous 5 star service in 2020. Session 1 was 5 hrs.; Sess. 2 was 3 hrs. and Sess. 3 was 2.5 hrs. If you attend a consultation, it is advisable as even pictures will not display everything an in depth oversight of your issues would. Q will provide an overview of what will be done but also an honest answer as to what to expect; i.e., you may only achieve 60-70% coverage. That's for a scarred area dependent on the severity of each individual's case. Yes, the level of pain varies in each area. The 3 most sensitive, respectively, would be the side temples, frontal scalp and top of head. Of course, each person is different; the most, personally, seems like pins & needles. However, even so, when it becomes a continuous placement of pigments in one area, the sensitivity increases noticeably. As far as "tattoo pain relief", he may permit a cream or spray if there is minimal ingredients; only Lidocaine basesd without alcohol is preferred. (5% Lidocaine, by the way, is noticeably better than even 4%). One must ask first to see if Q would permit that particular product. At the end, a chart of prices will show the degree of coverage that you would like. That is, based on his analysis of your own scalp, he breaks down a cost for each area. Then there is a grand total without tax. There are two payments with the 3rd session, if desired, now or later, at no cost . There is a small deposit before each session. Personal checks are accepted. Credit card use, if elected, would be a small % fee,. Q is attentive to your needs: there is a very comfortable padded leather reclining seat to watch your selections on Netflix, if you wish. read more

I had done a bit of research before reaching out for a consultation but if I had known how thorough and detailed Quyen was about then entire process I would have definitely gone sooner. He was very detail oriented and dedicated to making sure I understood the entire process and aftercare of procedure. It was a big decision to visit Scalp Society. I still had hair (albeit thinning rapidly) and was scared to death to shave my head. It is a decision I do not regret at all and I am extremely happy with the results. Quyen is professional and courteous while being respectful and personable. He also does fantastic work. Leaving home with a head of hair and coming back with a shaved head was a huge shock for my friends and family but no one seemed to notice I had anything done and they all think I look good with a buzzed head (which is important but not as important as the fact that I feel really good about it). The location has easy parking with meters and it feels very private. Timing is done very well and there was no wait or down time. It was in-consult-work and done (3 sessions after which I felt better every time). I started to notice hair loss was more apparent in the last few years making me feel pretty self conscious.
