This is a fantastic, historic spot for gelato in Palermo Soho. It's a long-time family-owned business, now run by the founders' grandchildren who still use the exact same original recipes. You can really taste the quality and the dedication to natural ingredients; the gelato itself is absolutely delicious and really stands out if you are someone who appreciates well-crafted specialty desserts.
We visited on a slow day and the single staff member working was incredibly kind. Despite the language barrier, he happily gave us samples to try and made us feel very welcome.
The location is quite small, with just one table inside and a bench outside, so be prepared to take your treat to go if it's busy. Also, while the pricing is very competitive, there is a steep 15% fee for using credit cards.
