I hired Dave to seed my front yard in the spring and also signed up for ongoing fertilization and…read moreweed control. Initially, everything looked great -- the seeding was successful, germination was excellent, and the grass was thriving for the first couple of months. However, after the first scheduled treatment, the new grass began to brown within days. I immediately voiced my concerns, and Dave came out to inspect the lawn. He assured me everything looked normal and didn't express any concerns. Unfortunately, the lawn continued to decline over the next two weeks, so I followed up again. This time, I was asked to send photos, and the lawn was diagnosed with a fungus without even a site visit (weird, two weeks earlier the brown was normal). I agreed to a treatment, which was applied the following day, including fungicide, fertilizer, and spot weed control. After that treatment, not only did the condition of the lawn continue to deteriorate, but the equipment used during the application caused visible damage -- the turning of the machine wheels tore up multiple areas of the yard by turning too fast. I reached out again to express my frustration, but never even received a response. I gave it a few days and nothing... so I again reached out to cancel my service. Two days later I see on my doorbell camera that Dave was there to look at my yard but no call, no text, nothing. I've since received other opinions and it's been fairly unanimous that the lawn was over fertilized and the freshly seeded lawn was most likely treated too soon. Regardless of the condition of my yard, which I am obviously unhappy with... it was the damage done and the lack of even a response let alone accountability that led me to move on. Very unhappy former customer.
