Cool environment and layout! Great beer/wine/drinks selection. Services was super. Portions were huge. We could have definitely split every dish and still been stuffed. Definitely would go again if staying in the area. read more

The Blende is the oldest rocker pub in Düsseldorf. I think it exists since the 70's or so and if…read moreyou come in it looks like nothing has changed since then. They still have their old records in a shelf above the bar. Neither has the furniture changed nor the people nor the music. And that makes a perfect atmosphere for a rocker pub like the Blende is. However don't be scared of the Blende, if you don't feel like a rocker or if you younger than the average guest. Especially the bartenders at Blende are very nice to everyone. And they are fast, too. While in most pubs in Düsseldorf you will wait forever for your beer, this is not the case at Blende. They also have a pool table and darts. And they show football games on TV, whenever there is one.

5 sterne von mir. ich habe schon viele restaurants in düsseldorf ausprobiert. das schalander ist mit abstand eine der besten adressen. die räumlichkeiten sind riesig, das publikum wunderbar gemischt, die plätze für jeden anlass vorhanden (dinner zu zweit oder betreibsausflug). die musik ist hörbar aber nicht brüllend laut, man kann sich den ganzen abend über normal unterhalten. 13 biere vom fass, eine lange speisekarte und die besten kellner, die man sich denken kann. die adresse ist nicht in der city sondern bereits etwas "ausserhalb". die Strassenbahn und U bahn sowie eine busline halten in unmittelbarer nähe. parkplätze findet man in der nahgelegenen siedlung. ein wichtiger zusatz: seit anfang der 80 jahre ist das schalander "karnevalsfreie zone!" ;-) read more

Das Schalander ist ne TOP Adresse wenn man gepflegt essen gehen will. Es ist ziemlich groß mit einen großen Biergarten, der mittlerweile der sogenannte Raucherbereich ist. Die Bedingungen sind sehr freundlich, das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Preise sind angemessen. Zudem kann man dort auch nach dem Essen noch ein wenig verweilen und gemütlich ein Bier trinken. Trotz der Größe ist der Laden fast immer komplett voll. read more

Der Biergarten hat eine gemütliche Atmosphäre, ideal für einen entspannten Abend mit Freunden. Die Bierauswahl ist ausgezeichnet, und das Personal ist freundlich. Die Preise sind angemessen, aber die Speisekarte könnte vielfältiger sein. Trotzdem ein toller Ort, um echtes deutsches Bier und einige Snacks zu genießen. read more

Ich war schon öfter im Schalander, zum einen weil ich die urige Atmosphäre dort sehr mag, zum anderen weil die einfach eine abnormal coole auswahl an bierewn haben. Das Essen ist auch gut, deftig würde ich sagen. also alles in allem ein super rahmen für einen netten Abend mit Freunden - ich komme sehr gerne hierher. read more
