However, if you purchase one of these spas do not expect to get any kind of respectable service. It is the worst. I had a slow leak for over a year, multiple trips, hundreds of dollars, explanations from everyone about how hard it is to fix a leak. Halfa** effort to repair it, and I'm being polite. Terrible. I ended up getting a friend I work with who is handy to come by and look at it and he fixed it in 10 mins... by correctly repairing an area that the Crowell repairman had worked on 3 other times. They just kept telling me that the hot tub was old (it is) and hard to identify a leak (it wasn't). The last time the Crowell guy came out, he left things in shambles and tightened the screws into the panel cover so wonky and crazy, it stripped three of the screws completely and they are stuck, cracked the panel, and broke a piece of the cedar off. I had to get a neighbor to help me even get the panel off I had to text the repairman to never come out again. No follow up from the store. I will be buying a brand new one eventually -- and it will be from anywhere but here. I've never written a review on anything but feel it is important to follow thru as a customer when you get terrible service and pay a lot of money to someone.

Trying to get the guy to come out was difficult, and he kept saying I didn't need to be there for him to do it, so he came when I wasn't here, but apparently that was just to turn things on, that $250 wasn't for any chemicals, water testing, adding salt, etc. I get that must have been a miscommunication that I didn't ask specifically if the version of "setting up the pool to be ready to go" they had was what I had, but I has assumed they would have said something when I told them I wanted it to be ready for swimming when they were done. I get that they weren't going to clean it, but I assumed for $250 that they would have done the chemicals part. He came back out after weeks of me having to go in twice, plus sending a list of dozens of days I would be home to be able to be shown how to do it, which was read (I have receipt) and then ignored. I finally had to talk to the manager to get him to come back, and tell me he couldn't do anything else, and he tried to explain everything extremely fast and I ended up just being more confused. He said I should have called someone who did maintenance on pools (which I thought was them) but was really rude about the fact that they all have waiting lists so why bother. I feel scammed out of money, the communication was awful, and they are not clear on what they do when you sign up. Their bill has one line, and no details. They make you feel you are stupid for not knowing how to take care of a pool, as if this isn't what their job is for. I will never use them again, and I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you need anything for a pool.

Those companies are, at best, mere bulletin boards for a wide range of "handymen". You are just as likely to get someone who has serious problems with work, more than inexperienced, worse, than you are to get a reputable repairman. I've been had by these "we send people out" companies before so to have Austin merely lie and be rude, well, it could have been worse. So beware, not just of AAs but any company that is but a trailer in the woods sending strangers out to your home and family.
