This place use to be the best spot for needohs, now they only have off brand cheap crap that they sell at scalper prices. You know the really cheap squishy foam butter sticks you can buy on Temu? Yea they are selling them for $10 each at scheels. It's really sad scheels went from being the best place to buy toys, to being just as dirty as the people selling fake products in the rest of the mall or on eBay and Facebook .. Oh yea and the dumplings they carry... also fake. Even Walmart carries the real RMS dumplings and sells them for half the price of these knock off $10 dumplings ... disappointed in you scheels... shame, shame, shame ! You may think that was a good idea at first; selling fake squishes and cheap dumplings at an insane price to unsuspecting moms and kids but when they realize they were duped by you. Visited our friends in AZ & they knew we love anything outdoors and outdoor gear and they brought us to the Disneyland of outdoor things. Scheels is like a department store, Bass Pro shops, & a small cafe combined. Lol. Two levels of just everything you can imagine. Sports cards, memorabilias, grilling (the wall of bbq & meat seasonings!), camping gear, shooting gear, golf, fishing, athletics, jerseys, shoes, legos... they have a ferris wheel inside the building, a candy store, and a cafe serving snacks and small bites. (4.5) I wanted to order a gift for a friend, (a SUP drink holder) and Scheels seemed to be the only place that had this specific one, according to the website. While it seemed pretty expensive for what it was, I figured the quality was probably good and felt confident in purchasing it. According to their website, they had all 4 colors available in store for pick up and guaranteed pickup in 2 hours or less. This was great because I needed to pick up that day and didn't have time to roam the store for it. I choose a pink one and orange one. A few hours went by and I never received an email about it being ready. I decided to call and learned that the pink one was actually not in stock in store, even though it said online that it was. This was slightly irritating, as I'm sure it's not difficult for the in store stock to sync up with the online stock. The service person said this happens sometimes and seemed apologetic. Anyways, they did have the pink one available to ship for free to my home. I decided to do that, and picked up the orange one for my friend. The customer service area is right up front when you walk in, and there was no one in line when I arrived around 430pm on a weekday. The store did look really cool, with massive fish tanks as you enter. I would definitely come back on a different day and check it out. Hopefully they can figure out how to make the online stock match what's actually available in store... read more

I didn't come here to shop. I came originally to possibly ride the ferris wheel. Unfortunately, I didn't get to because I timed my last meal poorly before visiting. I did shoot at the shooting arcade. I think the guns are calibrated for little kids because I hit more than I normally do. I wasn't able to play any of the video games while there, though. There's a bunch of photo opportunities, though, with the animal display in the middle. This was my entry to the mall, but there was a good amount of things to keep me entertained before I even stepped into the mall. read more

Was in the area so after my doctor appointment I stopped in to see this store, as friends of mine love it & told me to check it out. They were right! I LOVE this store! Lots of selection, whether it's clothing, sporting goods, shoes, or home decor. They also have great sales and value for your spending money. I came away with 2 shirts & a pair of shorts! They even have a great selection of candy & snacks! There is even a rideable ferris wheel in here! Scheels is located at the Chandler Fashion Center. As you walk into the main entrance, you are greeted by a large salt water aquarium with beautiful coral and fish. Scheels carries all your sporting goods needs for all members of the family. Need an electric bike? They have it! Looking for ASU wear? They have it! This is one of those places I want everyone to know about because it's AWESOME...but I secretly want to keep it to myself so it's not crowded lol! They have so much to offer - hunting gear, fishing gear, clothing, cute kitchen decor, toys, and sooooooo much more. We go here often, and I still find new spots every time. There's a bunch of photo ops with statues, signs, and even a giant bear! The workers are always so nice and helpful, the food in the onsite restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced, the bathrooms are clean. There really is something for everyone! I was thoroughly impressed at this store. Or should I say mini mall. I couldn't believe all the cool things I was able to see and find in this place. I didn't have much time to shop around, but the time I was here I was greeted, I was helped by multiple employees, and I found that everything was clean and well organized. The communication between team members when I was looking for something specific blew my mind. You can tell these folks enjoy their jobs here, and that they are treated well by this company. Everyone was happy, and ready to assist. There is such a huge selection of everything. Which is so cool. The prices were extremely reasonable too. This is one of the coolest shopping experiences I have had in a while. It's like a Dick's, but expand it to a Bass Pro Shops size. Add a restaurant, Ferris wheel, and aquarium. Random and cool selection. If you want to find a University of North Carolina jersey in the middle of AZ, Scheels might have it. Legos galore. Probably a few thousand water bottles from all the major thermos companies. Same goes for socks and sneakers. Feels like every sport and hunting represented. I usually try to stay in a hotel in Chandler when I visit Phoenix specifically because I want to stop by Scheels. read more

Stopped by Sunday afternoon to pick up a few things for my upcoming elk hunt. I couldn't find the boot insulators and a manager got a sales associate to look for them in the back room area. He brought them out and then helped me confirm they would fit a size 11 boot. After done there I asked him where the binoculars were located and he walked me over and showed me a few models. Nice displays and room to walk through. Again, I've never seen a retail store this size. Makes Dicks Sporting Goods like Trader Joe's. My wife and I stopped in to check out baby strollers. We are expecting twins and have an 18 month old already, so three kids under two! Angelina walked up and offered us help immediately. We explained our need for different configurations. We also asked many questions which she had quick answers to, proving her professional knowledge. We only were able to stump her on one question where she was able to look up and give us the right answer. She had a great attitude and was very helpful. My husband's coworkers recommended this place as an alternative to Bass Pro Shop and let me tell ya-- it did NOT disappoint. This store is a place for ALL hobbyists, from camping, gun enthusiasts, grill, coffee, sauce, dog lovers, etc. ! I'm sure every person would find this place to be a GEM to visit in AZ!!!! The employees here are great and they try to make the checkout process very smooth and efficient. We ended up getting some coffee but will definitely be coming back to shop for some bikes in the near future! The prices are fair, obviously since these are specialty items, they're going to be pricier than anticipated. Scheels is my favorite department store in the world. Yes, the NYC Macy's is a spectacle, but so is Scheels, with its Ferris Wheel. The now defunct FAO Schwartz was a kid's dream, but Scheels has a toy section and a shooting gallery! Harrod's in London is magnificent, but Scheels is THE sporting goods destination. Think of Scheels as your one stop sporting goods stop with customer service that bests Nordstrom. My daughter and I start our trip to Chandler Fashion Center at Scheels about once every two weeks on the first floor. She likes to watch the scuba cleaners clean the huge fish tanks and then take a ride on the Ferris Wheel. I like to check out what Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Wildcats clothes they have in stock (they have plenty of AZ Cardinals and ASU clothing too). We sometimes split a candy apple or some beef jerky at their food court (lotsa candy for the kids to ruin their teeth!) Most of the clothing is sold on the first floor. The second floor is my favorite. There's a mini bowling alley, a shooting gallery, a batting cage and small selection of video games (our daughter loves the motorcycle game.) You'll find camping accessories, massage guns, golf clubs, fishing gear, hunting gear, knives and a decent toy section all on the second floor. The gun section is vast; from hunting rifles to shotguns to hand guns. Scheels' salespeople are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Scheels is the standard that every retail company should strive to meet. You'll be greeted by every employee you pass and every one of them is there to answer your questions or find someone that can answer them. I was looking for a Labubu for our daughter in the toy section and approached an employee who didn't know where to find them, so she radioed a teammate that informed me they were stored by the registers. Always there to help...... *Tip 1* They carry higher end brands like Jordan, Nike, North Face, Vuori. They will price match. I price matched a UofA hoodie that was 30% cheaper on Lids.com and they were happy to do it. **Tip 2** If you have small kids, there's a small play area with a slide hidden next to the cycling section ***Tip 3*** Scheels consistently shows their love to the community. I've taken our daughter to a Lego building event earlier this year. They just hosted their annual Halloween Trick Or Treat store crawl and this year it included face painting and a meet and greet with some AZ Cardinals players. They honor our fallen on Memorial Day annually with a beautiful setup near their food court. read more

Ok, ok, I'll be the 100th review for Scheels!! Lol This store is MASSIVE, to say the least! I stopped in to check out Chandler Fashion Center and entered through Scheels. If you're a newbie like me, you'll stop once you get right inside the doors to get your pics by the big letters that spell out the name of the state. You're the "I," so don't slouch! If I had to describe this store, I would say Bass Pro Shops married Buc-ee's and they had a baby named Scheels, with a little bit of Sea World mixed right in (the glorious aquarium & the huge ferris wheel, and some video games, too)! Yes, it is a handful, but this store has it all. It's less than a year old, and I'm glad to see that it has been kept up well. They have aisles of those Stanley cups if you're a collector. They have a huge assortment of jerseys, sports apparel, shoes, and sports equipment. I didn't get a chance to look at everything, nor did I get to ride the ferris wheel, so I'm on a mission next visit, haha! The ferris wheel goes super slow, as you can imagine from its size, so when they're loading and unloading riders, be patient. I think a ride costs around $1.50, but I can't remember. I didn't buy anything this visit, either. Now I feel the need to go and buy something just so I can say I have something from Scheels! We shall see what I walk away with next time I'm here. Sheels has finally made their way to Arizona. This store is massive. I am a big outdoor enthusiast and appreciate and enjoy stores like this. Sheels opened up at Chandler Fashion Square in 2023 in the former Nordstrom location. There was a lot of hype about them coming here well before they opened. Sheels is a North Dakota based sporting goods store that has more than thirty stores nationwide. Sheels here at Chandler Fashion Square operates out of a 220,000-square-foot retail space and is connected to the mall. The two things about this Sheels that stands out the most are the indoor Ferris wheel and a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium. At times you can catch a scuba diver cleaning the tank. There is also an arcade room, sports simulators and a café. Sheels is a "one-stop shop" that sells a variety of items including clothing, sports equipment, hunting and fishing gear. They have seventy-five specialty shops. They even have a toy section with a number of LEGOs. I enjoyed walking around here during the holiday season and doing some window shopping. It is a huge store to walk around and easy to get lost in. The nice thing is that there is something for everyone here. I found the staff to be very helpful and look forward to coming here for future purchases. read more

Scheels is honestly one of the best things to come to Chandler!! There's so much to do as a low cost or free option with kids. A staple- especially during Arizona summers. They have men's, women's, kids clothing, outdoor stuff and a killer coffee shop. Among other things. Everytime we come the staff is so so polite & checks in on us. I wouldn't call myself a fan of sporting goods stores, but oh my I have become such a huge fan of this massive store! This store is like a Cabela's on steroids times a million. I was immediately struck by many bronze statues outside the store of past presidents and the fallen soldier statute was very moving. As soon as you walk in, there is a beautiful double archway fish tank. They have everything you can think of for the entire family including your pets and it was so impressive. Everything they carry is high end and pricey but you can just see and feel the quality. It was fun to see a huge Ferris wheel on the first floor. It's $1 to ride and it was cool to I see a mom and son riding. They even have a restaurant and a candy shop on the first floor. I saw a lot of people dining so checked out the menu and the prices were very reasonable. There is also a jerky and sausage section you can buy for $16/lb. There is a two lane bowling alley on the second floor and again I saw a mom and her son playing. How fun for the kids! It was just so fun to explore this store and we ended up spending over 2 hours as hubby was in pure heaven. Just when I thought I had seen everything, I saw a MyFamily Dog ID tag engraver! So we decided to get a new tag for our fur baby and it was cool to watch his name and phone number being engraved. One thing that really stood out was how friendly the employees were. Stopped by Scheels while at Chandler Fashion Center. My son and I were looking for a particular pair of Birkenstocks. We couldn't find it anywhere so decided to try our luck at Scheels. Spoiler alert, we didn't find it there either. However, we were pretty impressed with the store as a whole. Ssheels features 85+ categories including hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, biking, men's and women's fashion, team sports, and more. They carry popular brands like Nike, Under Armour, YETI, Traeger and more. The store was a bit overwhelming if I'm being honest. There's so much to see and do. That's a good thing, I guess. Everything seems well organized, but we didn't stay long enough to explore the entire store. There's something for everyone. I found that the prices were similar to other stores. I've ordered from them online and their customer service is also really good. Based out of North Dakota, this is one impressive company! They have a wide selection of product and if you order online you can pick up in store. This is an amazing sporting goods store. They literally have anything and everything you can possibly imagine. I even found a dog tag section and got a new tag for my dog. They carry high end merchandise. Their selection of grills and appliances is top notch and I found myself browsing throughout this store for a very long time. I was very impressed with their extensive shoe selection and sportswear. This is definitely the best sporting goods store I've been to. They also give you a military discount and the bronze statutes in front of the store is definitely worth a look. read more
