He scolded me for not asking him for napkins. I explained that there are no paper towels outside and he said, "people keep taking them." But... "that's how it's supposed to work," I said. "That's the process.., You fill them, people use them, then you refill them." He kept trying to get the last word in, raising his voice each time he responded. First off, the customer is always right. Second, he could use the same argument for not having toilet paper available... why should we refill it when people keep using it?! Why should we take out the trash when people keep filling it? What a moron. Lastly, fill the paper towels, mofo!

This Walmart-attached gas station is in Schertz. Which is a word that combines "sh**" and "it…read morehurts." So next time you want to say "sh**, it hurts", just shorten it to "Schertz!" Whenever we are close to San Antonio, this is a good stop for gas, price wise. In this case we were struggling, tired, without a hotel room (although I got one soon after), and we were having car trouble (ugh), so I had to stop for a while and buy some stuff and get some gas and this is where we filled her up. So to speak. It's a good choice because it's probably cheaper than most of the gas stations within a few miles of here, and on some days it's the cheapest in Texas. Then again it's owned by Walmart so you can't have everything.

The first thing that struck us about this convenience store was the cleanliness and spaciousness of the store. All areas of the convenience store had large placards helpful for zeroing in on what was in that specific area of the store. The store was extremely well-lit, making it super easy to find whatever you needed. To our surprise, we found Topo Chico Sabores Raspberry with Lemon Flavored Sparkling Water in a can, which we not tasted before...quite delicious. Our convenience store attendant was Texas friendly and offered a cup of ice with our water purchase. We gased up and headed home. It was a pleasant, quick stop.

If you are headed to 1604 this is your last stop for gas unless you wanna deal with the hectic situation of trying to get over in to the HE parking lot on 1604...worst logistic planning on the NW side. Anyway, like a typical Shell they have snacks, marked up knick knacks, phone chargers, and "for tobacco only" glassware.

Located right on the corner of Kitty Hawk and 1604 access road. Great things in Texas are those access roads that run along side the highway.

I show it to her and she comments on how tone and buff I seem in my ID and she tells me that am even more awesomely tone and buff in person. She asks me how I do it and I tell her it's from drinking light beer - Bud Light specifically. I never even go to the gym I tell ya! So then I snapped out of my daydream and realized I was standing in the twinky aisle at an Exxon Tigermart. What a let down.... Ok, so it wasn't really a let down - this place isn't so bad. I actually prefer the Exxon Tigermarts to the Valero's around town because they are all so clean and spacious and this one is no different. This location can be extremely busy between 5p and 6p when everyone is getting off work. The parking can be tough and the lines inside can be extremely long - seriously. This is a good place to stop if you are EAST bound on 1604, but if you are WEST bound on 1604, it might be difficult to get to, especially if you have to get back on West bound 1604 - if that is the case DON'T stop here!
