The 1st time I went to the office, I was already given very short responses on when my next appt was and keep in mind they make appt without asking the patient they are scheduling for. Everyone has to work and can't just take off anytime to do doctors appts and without asking first is already unprofessional. Next not only did they mess up my name completely on my paper work to the labs, EVEN THOUGH I GAVE THEM MY ID TO SCAN IN WITH MY INS CARD. LIKE HOW? When I called to correct their mistake, they weren't even apologetic about it and as if it's my job to make sure they can do their jobs right. Today, my appt was only suppose to be checking on 1 thing, but they merged my next appt with this appt without even letting me know in advance. Not only did they not communicate anything, but they couldn't care less that I was in a rush since I didn't know in advance. Then going to make the my procedure appt was even worse. I walked to to SUMMER, greeting her, she then without a greeting said, "you can have a seat." No explanation as to why and just kept tapping away and calling the surgery center for me without even asking me when I can TAKE OFF to do a procedure. When I OVERHEARD my name on the phone is when I realized she was scheduling my procedure without even asking me. So I politely waited til she was off the phone to let her know since she couldn't even address me in the beginning. When I told her I couldn't make it, she then LOUDLY sighed and started slamming stuff around and clacking buttons as if it's my fault to INCONVENIENCE her, even though she literally just could've done her fucking job and just asked me. She then pulled down her mask to talk to me about how it's just how it is to schedule and when I wanted to schedule then.I told her I wanted to schedule later due to my work schedule and she was like "when then did you want to schedule" RUDELY. When I told her June, before I could tell her when in June, she went and scheduled and gave me a card to have me leave. When I looked at the card it was for an appt on Wednesday when my scheduled procedure was Friday. I then went inside to let them know I can't make Wednesday due to work and they said well that's how it works for pre-op. Wouldn't it have been nice to be told these things from the person scheduling me? It would definitely be since I DONT WORK THERE NOR KNOW THEIR PROCEDURES. I have been to several doctors offices growing up here, but never have I ever been to a more unprofessional and rude office staff. I have never left a doctors office in tears from being given such a rude and unprofessional attitude. It's an OBGYN OFFICE, shouldn't we feel safe and taken cared of instead of just another "cash cow " for this office to use and schedule whenever they like without consideration for any patients work and life schedules? I would NEVER recommend this office to anybody if they like to be happy. I would rather fly to another island than to get care from them again. I don't think anyone should ever be treated like that and if SUMMER continues to work there, then it shows what their office is really about. UNPROFESSIONALISM, RUDENESS AND TREATING PATIENTS LIKE SHIT. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well as any other platform this office is on because no one deserves this.

The…read moreDard Side Of Addiction or The Dark Side Of Everything This started as a review for our former doctor who unceremonisly removed us from her patient list. No reason that we can discern beyond a few statments made to me about my pain medicine that I have been taking for two years after unsuccessful full hip repacement & subsequent unsuccessful spinal decompression surgery. My wife, who was also her patient was dismissed (we quess) because she has been taking various pain medication for approximately eight years because of her chronic regional pain syndrome. She also has had an unsuccessful herniated disk spinal surgery approximately eight years ago. We are both seventy three years old & also suffer from several less serious but common maladies that accompany our age. Twice our former doctor advised me "these drugs are not for fun, they're for pain." Neither my wife or myself have ever abused our pain medication. Never have we asked for more pain medication. Never have used my pain medication for "fun." Neither has my wife. Our medical & prescription records are easlily accessed by our medical team. We take no illegal drugs. I may be the culprit that caused our former doctor to drop us. The two times she remarked about me "having fun" with my medications I didn't respond. She had previously referred us to a pain clinic which were under another the care of nurse practitioner who handled our pain prescriptions so I assumed that since she was free from that burden, there was no further reason to talk about it. We have been under this PCP's care for about 2 years & had no issues. Our visits were mostly jovial with some serious levity. Aha. Maybe that's it. Perhaps she thought that that levity meant we were not serious about our recovery. Several monther ago in a phone conversation I had said in jest, "this is your pain in the ass elderly couple." And she said, and I'm paraphrasing -- "you're not even close to my pain in the ass patients." And as I said, our visits, although sometimes broaching serious medical issues tended to be a bit positive & upbeat. Once, she ask if I was doing my physical therapy & I said yes, "Getting in & out of my car. Opening packages. Getting up off the sofa, etc.. " It was meant as a joke but . . . I do have respect for physical therapy -- our daughter & daughter-in-law own a physical therapy fitness center. A bit of my history which I think my be relevant to this issue. I was a hippy in the 60's & I was in many rock & roll bands -- and it WAS a "sex drugs & rock & roll" and I lived it. I was married to my first wife &. at 25 she became pregnant & our son was born in 1978. The moment the nurse handed him to me & I beheld an infant that I seemed, for lack of a better term -- a mini me. I saw that I had a chance to give this little guy a much better life than I had survived. My ex-wife, my son's mother was a party girl. We divorced when our son was about five, went thru a bitter custody battle which I lost. I was devastated. A few months later my ex-wife brought him over for a regular weeked visit & never came back to pick him up. So from age five, it was him & me. I quit drinking & drugs because I was afraid I might lose him. A few years later I got a job at a drug & alcohol/psych unit at a local hospital. I knew I needed treatment to stay straight but I couldn't take a month "vacation." So I came in the back way. So I was totally clean & sober for twelve years as I raised him. Then I met my current wife & she's been an angel. She was the mother he never had. More history. My father was a life long alcoholic & drank himself to death. My mother became an alcoholic later in life but died clean & sober. Unfortunately she was addicted to another drug, nicotine (she was a three pack a day smoker.) She was a two time breast cancer survivor but lung cancer got her in the end. My younger brother has been an addict for the last 40 years. As far as I know he is still alive. My youngest brother was an alcoholic/addict with several years sober (he was an administrator for a halfway house before he died of lung cancer). His son, my nephew died of an overdose shortly after his father died, and his sister, my niece committed suicide via overdose shortly after that. So I know the dark side of addiction. I know it all too well. So maybe I broach the subject of addition with some levity. I don't choose levity, I have to. It's either that or I cry. I wish my wife & I could have talked this issue over with our former doctor, but she's made it impossible to reach her. My hope is that maybe if my story gets out those of us with long-term chronic pain will get a bit more empathy.

Due to the location of the wound, daily dressing change was required, and the Hospital Case worker along with his office personnel, had done a follow-through. I was told that my medical insurance had 100% Home Care Nursing coverage, included with required medical supplies shipped directly to my home. Monday, a home care nurse had called me and the supplies arrived on Tuesday along with the home care nurse, initial visit. One and a half month long worth of home care services were to follow. I am appreciative for the much needed care bestowed upon me and my person. I kept my synopsis brief to its objective. Important to get it out then have it drawn out with nonsensical verbiage. Those who may find themselves in a similar circumstance, please understand, it may very well be my story, but afterall, it is your body and you know what is best. Take care and be well!

For two whole weeks I kept calling and calling for my sons proscriptions and too get him the care he needs and every time all I got was excuses and them saying "they forgot to notify his doctor" you guys are supposed to specialize in helping children and yet all you fuckers do is bullshit and give fucked up excuses. We make appointments just too have them rescheduled by you guys, my son deserves the care and respect from professionals not fucked up staff like this! I'm beyond pissed and honestly wish we had more friendly and respectful caring doctors here like Oahu!
