I saw a wonderful Mozart concert here with strings and a visiting French Horn player who was fantastic. It's not a huge room and it's nicely intimate inside; the interior is clad with white marble and is gorgeous. I went in March and was able to get a ticket on the same day but I think in summer it must sell out. They have a coat check and a bar that you can visit before the concert and during intermission. Don't come too hungry though, because I only saw MozartKugel on sale for snacks the night that I attended a concert. Check on their website a couple days in advance if you can. It's really worth seeing a concert here plus you get to visit the famous Angel Staircase and Marble Hall, which are must sees if you're visiting Salzburg.

The apres ski is great fun and although the same band (The Short and Curlies (??!)) have been there for years, the recipie is successful and from about 4pm you'll enter to a scene reminicent of something from the film Coyote Ugly, with attractive Scandanavians dancing on tables and attractive bar staff serving your drinks. The drinks prices are high but then then food and drink in the resort is pretty dear on the whole. Into the evening the pub retains its party atmosphere with more dancing on tables into the early hours you'll be glad to hear.

I wasn't keen on the vegetarian option because it consisted of all carbs. Keep in mind that you are mainly paying for the entertainment and not the food, so don't expect it to be Michelin quality. *Alcohol isn't included in the dinner package. You will pay separately at the end of the show. * For the most part, people dressed up for this dinner concert. Although, I did see some people dressed rather casual. On our first night in town, we arrived really late so there were only bars and a McDonald's open…read more As we were walking around the town center, we looked down towards the waters edge and noticed a "little bar" with people sitting and having drinks. It was a beautiful night so we looked forward to sitting outside and having some cocktails. Drinks were very affordable (at least by Philadelphia, US standards) and service was friendly/prompt. There were even some live musicians singing a celebratory song which was a lot of fun. We talked to some of the locals and got some good tips about places to see. This was a great little spot in Villach.
