The bathrooms have great water pressure, plenty of hot water, and a bidet. We booked the family suite (I think there are only 3 of them) for our family (2 adults, 15 yo and 19 yo) and didn't feel cramped. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach or old town, and not so close to the bars that noise is a problem. Staff was both pleasant and helpful. The rooftop pool and bar is a nice retreat from the crowds and offers sweeping views of Tossa de Mar. Finally, the breakfast buffet is elegant and delicious, offering fresh eggs, waffles, smoked salmon, croissants, Nespresso machine, etc. If we ever return to Tossa we'd definitely stay at Hotel Delfin.

They speak many languages.(I spoke English, Catalan, Spanish, and German with them). This isn't your ordinary hostel. It has an amazing breakfast and if you ask, you can request to have your breakfast on the rooftop. It has the very best view of Tossa. I spent many nights after partying having a night cap at the hotel before going to bed. Now that I am older, I enjoy sitting at the bar and talking with the owners after a nice dinner. They also have a pet turtle that I have come to love and now that I have children, even my daughter wants to stop and see the turtle. The rooms are clean. The service outstanding! The price is perfect. We have so many wonderful memories. The hostel is a success because of word of mouth. I used to be able to just show up but know I strongly recommend getting a reservation. There is no swimming pool, but I question anyone who goes to Tossa to swim at a pool. The water, beach and castle walls are wonderful.

We arrived just after the Thomson Flight and…read morewe had booked a pool view room on their website, i emailed several times and a phone call asking for a room on the second floor with afternoon sun and we did not get it, we got a room on the third floor with no afternoon sun, so it was pointless emailing them. I asked the day after to be changed but they said we couldn't. The room was nice though and it had a lovely view, though the beds are so uncomfortable and the rooms are in much need of a renovation and sound proofing, the family next door to us were like a hoard of elephants on a rampage. I found the food to be very samey this year to be honest, breakfast was nice but the evening meals were the same almost every night. Maybe have a themed night a few nights of the week? The pool area was great and theres enough sun beds for everyone, so theres no need to get up at 8am to rush down and get one. We did go all inclusive but i don't think i would again, you just don't make the most of it to be honest unless your drinking around 8-10 drinks a day. The entertainment this year wasn't great, though the entertainment team work hard throughout the day including Roberto who's great! A new addition for this year though was the wifi and it worked all throughout the hotel. I do think the hotel is in much need of a renovation to bring it up to date with modern up to date furnishings, especially the rooms. Apart from these little issues the hotel is great but can be improved.

The commode and sink were in one room and the shower in another. The shower was quite roomy and tall enough, which sometimes can be a problem for me in old buildings. The common areas and stairway were very, very ornate and too cool. We just loved this place. It had a nice courtyard for the breakfast, which was a very nice breakfast. The front of the hotel facing the beach was also a restaurant and was where the breakfast was served. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was parking available at €26 per day at their sister hotel, the dolphin. It was very tight getting my Volvo SUV in there that I'd rented. This was just a very cool place to stay!
