Everything is great, my inability to speak German prevented me from exploring other kinds of food off the menu because they are all written in German or Deutsch. Parking in this area is also a pain, we have to go around and find places to park then walk to this place. I was not sure if they serve protein/meat filled sandwiches but I was not brave enough to blabber and gesture my way to try other stuff so I settled. I got a hamburger flavored pasta. Now we didn't sample the beer as it was early afternoon but from what I could see the locals drinking it looked refreshing. The staff were fluent in English which helped as the German we had was not much or very good!! There is a small amount of parking available opposite the store, just in front of the local church. Seating is available inside and out side the store. Now the thing to be aware of is that they do not accept card payments!! We had ordered before asking that question. The staff were excellent and allowed us to eat and drink what we ordered whilst we waited for a colleague to meet us with some cash. That's why they have got 4 stars.

This is a second-hand review…read more.. While Spousal Unit and I were on a recent river cruise in Germany I came down with a "code in my dose". This derailed my "eat a sausage at every stop" plan. Fortunately SU covered for me as she went happily a'wandering while I sipped hot tea back on the ship. Her comments on the restaurant's traditional Regensberger wurst: fabulous, especially with sauerkraut and sweet mustard on a brodchen roll. She did not bring me a wurst back (her excuse: "it would have been cold", damnit) but she did bring a jar of their mustard: wunderbar! (One of the couples we met on the cruise had been to the Wusrtkuchl before, and they actually brought a spare suitcase to load up for the trip home!). I guess a vicarious thrill is better than none. Next time!
